7:39 it's a nice idea but even if the knight wasn't pinned, black would be losing after Qxg2+ Kxg2 Nf4+ Bxf4 Rxh5 and white has a bishop for a pawn which is completely winning!
I love the A-Rooks jurney in this game, from a1 to a3 to b3 to b4, all the way to h4 and then exchange it self on h8 in the oposite corner where it came from. Thats a lone soliders jurney! Also the way newbies play chess: out with the Rook its a strong peice, and then blunder it halfway somewhere. But not Magnus, he plays newbie chess like a pro!
what happened to teymur radjabov and levon aronian? MVL? are they knocked out? but thats impossible because teymur radjabov won with wesley and still wesley is in the finals. how? pls someone answer. i dont understand
Why does he say "sorry bout that" and reaches down. I assume its to turn the subwoofer down but I've never noticed extra bass before he turned it down? Love the vids just curious
True, but I think in this game we can easily see that nepo also lost due to lack of concentration, didn't spot some pretty fundamental exchanges... Not that I would have mind you lol
Seems like these days most top GMs are on a similar level, Magnus just can concentrate for longer (and he can see winning chances even in the most drawish endgames). I guess Sasha Grischuk is on the other side of the concentration spectrum, though in his case it's also his (lack of) time management.
Magnus on a bad day is at equal versus his super GM opponents. Magnus on a normal day dominates his super GM opponents. Magnus on a good day adopts his super GM opponents.

How is it that Agad makes that first “sorry about that” sound natural every time?
Because he use it all the time :D
It's almost like a title track. It's a necessary prelude.
for the memes
Repetition comes natural to him.
And he tidies everything up so nicely at the end with his "So yeah" 😁
Magnus has an uncanny knack of suddenly being way ahead, for example, for me, those passed pawns on b and c just appeared out of nowhere! 10:13
Great analysis, thank you. Such a great pleasure watching these games, that they don't play perfectly ever move gives me confidence.

Brilliant game by Magnus. Very instructive. Thanks
I finnish two whole add because that’s how much we appreciate your videos. I hope you get really rich.
I have a doubt. Why does this magnus guy squeeze so much

This is completely right.
But I assume Carlsen and Nepo can see deeper lines 4-5 moves ahead and didn't think that this would be winning
9:39 Agad forgot his next line and checks the script
