I actually thought Kaya was gonna be higher on the list, so that surprised me. I knew Kirsten was gonna be on top. Your memory of getting and opening Kirsten is like me with my pocahontas dolls. I was only 2 when they came out and I still remember opening them and pulling them out 🥰 I also thought kit was going to be on here,
I love Kaya but my top five are pretty solidified and pretty sentimental and although she is as well, she is not one I do a lot with because I want to keep her as pristine as possible. I feel I would be more sentimentally attached to her if I had her as a child.
@@kylacollects that's understandable. I have a few dolls like that too. I love them and wanted them for years growing up, but they don't have those memories attached to them like some of the ones I did have as a child.

I also keep my 35th Anniversary Kirsten as a collector doll, she is the only doll I own that I don’t touch, change or anything like that. She is not my favorite doll in my collection but she definitely gets preferential treatment 😅 So I understand your wanting to keep her in the best condition possible

I’ve never had Kirsten I want to get her. I eventually want to get possibly Abbey because she’s from North Carolina definitely Josefina and Kathleen want kaya But historically, the one who looks identical to me when I was growing up, was Molly
I'm so glad Ginny made the list. She's such a pretty girl. :) Ella is gorgeous too. I just turned my custom 26, my very first custom, back into a true 26 and I'm so happy I did. I bought her second hand with a non-AG wig and I'm so glad she has a real 26 wig again. Oh Deer Custom Dolls also gave her freckles and lovely shading on her cheeks, along with lovely matte lips, as her lips were pretty much non-existent. I think it would be amazing if you got Kaya for your Grandma. Definitely let us know if you end up doing that. :)

Samantha is still my favorite! Kit is second. Then maybe Molly or Kirsten. Kit’s main series books were boring to me. As an adult I realized I don’t like Molly’s character. I like Samantha’s outfits the best, then Felicity. I didn’t like Kit or Molly’s outfits much. Rebecca I don’t yet love because I just heard of her a few months ago
