Glad you are ok. It was a good race lots of cars and yes pretty aggressive driving. But you almost made it through. I wish you better luck in 2024. Thank you for posting and I just subscribed. Hope to see more vids!
Early in the race, #14 is an idiot. Trying to pass you at a crash scene, and then turns into a guy going into 1 and hits you.. and im quite surprised they didnt do a full course caution with that first crash, having 2-3, safety vehicles there.
Thank you! Exactly. Plus the number of people that were still flying through the scene post-kink while double yellows were hanging in the carousel. Looked like a whole lot of dumb.
And avoiding an out of control car. After the initial wall hit, Henry (my son) was unconscious, so the car travels on its own until being hit broadside. He has no memory from just before the wall until later in the hospital. Hard to make choices when you are knocked out, right?
@@benjacobs5054 He's got one more month in the c-collar for the fracture (basal skull fracture, thankfully stable, but nearly internal decapitation) and the burns have healed marvelously. Unfortunately, the car is a total write off. On top of our rally car burning to the ground earlier this year, it's been a tough one.
@@taborrally We kept you guys in our prayers. Racing is a tough sport both physically and financially for sure. We hope the both continue to improve for you guys.
Thank you for this video. You did not do anything wrong. I am ok for the most part. Glad you are also ok.
So glad you are mostly ok. It was a big hit. I was concerned for you and was glad you posted updates. Hope to see you out again.

good driving, really , nice.
So you slow down for a full course yellow but not when it is displayed at a turn
Why were you able to go through a crash area at 115 m.p.h. ?
He is watching another film, real amateur...
So you started racing before you saw the green
These cars need to have a radio so you have somethind to do
didn't appear that you got injured. glad you're ok. that was a scary one.
So on a 0 to 10 scale i would rate these drivers as a -5, ready for nascar
Spec Racer Renault to Ford to Junk
You can see the dust, the crash and dont push the brake. You push when the other cars on the road. Real amateur....
You didn't even lift in an area of a yellow flag
You slowed and everything to avoid the wreck. Why that 05 car didn't go two feet in is beyond me.
I had no brakes after going 115+ into the outside wall. I was unconscious.

Henry, I am so glad you are ok. It was a scary one.

And it just shows why you shouldn't have a racing license
