@@SonnyTalksSpurs biss for me strong performance and just what everyone needed to see take everything on board and turned it to a positive straight away move forward now COYS
Everton are struggling but spurs still have to get it done. Spurs had plenty of excuses with Solanke out, Bissouma in some doubt, Kulu and Johnson being backed when most would drop them, no time to be Odobert to bed in, madders still getting back to his best and so many knocks during the game. Ange showed guts and the team were ruthless both forward and defence with the magical clean sheet. A perfect result from what was on offer. Shows a lot of versatility in the line up. Team definitely look stronger. Gives the team and fans what they needed ahead of the next 3 games when a lot will be understood about how far they have to go. COYS
Great Team effort and so important to have a cleansheet. There were so many positives to take away from that game, with many of the players stepping up when it really counted. There were probably 4 or 5 MOTM performances from the Team, which makes it hard to single out any one player. Credit to Ange for taking the risks that he does. I would hope that Johnson starts of the bench in the next few games. His confidence is lacking and needs to get upto speed with his passing, finishing and his decision making.
That was a brilliant performance! Now, let's see how we fare against the likes of Newcastle, Arsenal, and the rest. This is Ange's second season, and while we'll see what we're truly made of, I believe we'll struggle to get points in the coming weeks. Many of you might not want to hear this, but it's my honest assessment.
@ Sonny you are the first person I’ve heard saying they’re happy with the window !!! It’s the only way we can compete and its the most fun thing to watch
People want players for here and now but it does not always work like that and when you do sign someone for here and now it turns out they don't want them i.e solanke
I told you a while before Biss was caught his lifestyle was not great. He was incredible today even with the long passes. Hopefully he keeps it up and the the talent he has
I thought the scoreline flattered us a bit, to be honest. The second goal was an absolute gift from Pickford, as he is usually solid playing out from the back. When we were up 2-0, we had a few stretches where we looked incredibly shaky in defense, and I think a better team would have scored. At that point, things could have gone either way. Still, it was a solid win over perhaps the poorest Everton side that I can remember seeing.
The negativity in this comment section is horrendous. what will they say when we batter newcastle next week. "oh we started well last season and look what happened." were going to do something big this season. ive been saying it for weeks.
If we actually batter Newcastle away then I guarantee you people will be a lot more positive. We played well but this Everton side was really bad, hard to judge how we will do against top teams.
Sonny stay humble, a good display and you can only beat the team in front of you, we will find out where we are when we play some quality ! Johnson not in a good place and he cost us £42 million ! Ouch !
Kulu is now being picked were he should have been a long time ago, once again another great display from him, showing once again he is not a winger or a wide player..........The Aussie Spurs Fan.
In the Tofees defence their squad is being held together by prayers and bubblegum at the moment. I think 4-5 1st team players out, and with their financial/ownership situation they're also screwed in the transfer market. I fully understand why they're asking 80 mil for Branthwaite. Yes every team has to deal with injuries but in Evertons case it's magnified. I think Dyche is effectively bringing a plastic spoon to a gunfight. And that's not his fault. Everton fans I've read are asking for Moyes back. And I think why do you want to put a club legend through that? As for Tottenham Odobert on the right, Sonny on the left Solanke up top. I'm sorry but Johnson needs to have a seat. Kulus future lies centrally as I've stated previously. When Biss is one of the best performers on the pitch, the team will win a LOT. It's just that consistency
Hey mate, great win against a bottom 5 team. Some games the chances will go in but remember one swallow doesn't make a summer.Good that young Frenchy got a start.More difficult games are coming.Theres 50+ games this season a couple more quality starting level players are needed.

@SonnyTalksSpurs oh I do for sure and I think we'll beat Newcastle and will get something out of the Arsenal game but I am.not getting over excited about Everton especially as they are very weak at the moment. Coys
I thought Leicester was bad, but Everton is the worst. 7 conceded 0 scored in 2 games. Already prime candidates for relegation. The test is Newcastle away. So, let's not get too excited.
