I think it looks good. Even with the white background you can read the text despite the border being white and the white protects the inside color from overlapping colors. Not sure if it's the font but while the text is thinner, it also looks bigger.
I think I prefer the old style. Its still perfectly readable, but it looks weird to me across the bottom where the left half is light and the right half is dark, kinda like its two different fonts on the same line. Maybe its just this background, but I think it could come up a lot depending on the content of the stream. Like I said, no problem reading it, but something about the look just slightly irks me.
Can't really point a reason why but I liked the aesthetic of the old sub font just had a sort of nice professionalism to them relative to this but no major qualms either way
ngl when I saw Kizuna Ai send her congrats to Lamy on her 1st anniversary I was like "Whoa... this is huge..." And even now, Lamy is more than capable of collabing with her. It'd be a collab for the history books, surely.
The arc of Kizuna and Lamy is pretty interesting. It started when AI was being interviewed and was asked which vtuber caught her interest recently and Kizuna had mentioned Lamy who only debuted a month or two. Then on Lamy's birthday stream, AI gave a Super Chat to Lamy, Lamy was so surprised by this that she checked to make sure if it was the real Kizuna AI (it was). After the stream apparently Lamy and AI talked over discord and AI gave Lamy permission to call her AI-chan. I really do hope they collab together.

I actually watched ai chan waaaayyyy back in 2016 and still watch all her concerts to this day so to me and I imagine many other vtubers she is like the founding mother of the whole scene she coined the term "vtuber" itself she is an inspiring presence and seeing lamy do a collab with her would be pretty awesome I'd love to see modern day hololive collab with her in fact 1 hololive member has collabed with her back in 2018 tokino sora of course ai chan focuses more on growing the scene as a whole giving smaller vtubers the spotlight but seeing something like vtuber fest but on a bigger scale would be pretty amazing
Love the new font Hilmi, easy read but also stylish. To think Lamy is willing to possibly pee herself playing VR horror if she can get the chance to collab with Kizuna AI. Hope they really get the chance to collab, be a cool conclusion to LamyxKizunaAI arc.
Lamy doing a horror collab with Botan is always awesome. She hides behind all scared, gets spooked by every little jump scare, and then immediately flips to angry yelling at the monsters. I wonder if she'd do the same with Ai-chan....right up until she pees her pants.

I was just watching AI-chan's RE Village play a day ago and was thinking that there was times where she really sounded like Lamy at times
