  • To finish up with track preparations for 2020, Rogue Engineering brought their race car down to Kassel for a dyno tune. They were previously on our off-the-shelf tune, but it was time to dial it in. It is a freshly rebuilt 3.3L S54, forged JE pistons, headers, and side exit exhaust. This put down some of the highest numbers that we've seen on our dyno for an NA S54. In this video we also take a look at Rogue's new wheel designs - the ARK9 & GTR.

    Best sounding STREET set up:
any brand headers, no cats, BORLA mid pipe (almost $1000 now!) and RE El Diablo standard exhaust. Has an F1 scream above 6k RPM. NO RASP. Zero!!!
Sounds good down low off idle too. Does drone a bit on the highway. Solution: drive in triple digits on long trips. LOL. Jjking. Or not....

i was expected something near 380whp from a stroker 3.3L S54 . Still 335whp is an amazing number ! Nice exhaust sound !

Filip Nikola it was one of the higher numbers for the NA S54’s that we’ve tuned. Actually made very similar numbers as a stock s54 with 288 cat cams. Keep in mind that our dyno reads very low compared to most others.

Daniel Wagener mines got 338whp with SS exhaust Schrick 288/280 cams CSL intake and custom tune
( not a DynoJet or high reading dyno either from what I've seen )

Apologies if it was mentioned in the video (at work and cant fully watch lol). But whats the specs on the wheels and tires on the car? The fitment looks fantastic, and do you happen to know what the ride height setting is? Would like to replicate for my track car.
EDIT: saw they were listed as 18x10 et25 all around, is there a spacer being used on the rear? I have the same spec wheels in the rear and with a 12mm spacer and they dont sit out as far.

How long until the wash bucket vinyl set is back in stock?

I have Michelin 256-35-18's on all four corners on 9.5" ultra light D Force wheels. IMO, a 10inch wheel is heavier and the sidewalls in this video looked stretched.
Granted, the car does well as is. But, I cant help wondering how much better it would do with lighter 9.5 wide wheels which are optimized for the 265-35-18 tires.

There’s plenty left in that engine. My 04 M3 with 144k miles and only a intake and cat less headers makes 352 whp and 270 ftlb of torque on 93 pump gas. That engine should be 380+ no problem. Even more on race fuel or ethanol it would be 400+ no problem.

How did you eliminate the rasp? Do you have resonators? The sound is intoxicating. See my comment about best sounding street set up. It involves the El Diablo muffler.
