you should clean the filter properly though the DPF pressure sensor, forced regen isn't good unless absolutely necessary, it can melt the DPF and cause more issues, watch o'Rileys Auto on youtube he will teach you.
Here’s more videos on how you can clean dpf far better and easier than most people teach you. th-cam.com/video/z-Rsoe6Cjbk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sae0i7OfY9TFNIjW that’s not the only video I have many more on about dpf regents etc…
I agree. But just listen to the video. He talk about a DPF delete how it's illegal but you can do it - it just costs money (that's the important point right?). He is told by the scan tool a regen is not required but he continues. He is told by the tool to increase the revs to 2000 but revs to nearer 2500. He says a reading of 23 mbar is quite a lot - no it is not; it's very very good. At the beginning he ignores the codes p261a u0151 and just flushes them - them will come back. He's a guy with a scan tool and thinks clicking about on a tablet fixes things in the real world. Little to no understanding. I doubt he knows his way around an engine bay.
How much will it cost do do this?
