    Nice video. Instead of jackhammering the beam, why didn't you rough-in the pipes in the ring beam before the concrete was pour? And why is the ring beam poured separate to the slab? In the island where I am from, we do one complete pour (beam and slab) so there are no cold joints.

    • @ElectricalInstallationEEE

      How to get rid of it ? When the board pull down take out the papers first ,if it is plastic box like what i used just hold it with a pliers and pull it out now if is a metal then you use a trizzle place it on the nail close to the whole in the box that the nail come then use a hammer and knock it until it brust off.

    • @opssonopsson8282
      @opssonopsson8282 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can estimate that buy the number of "heavy appliances" you intend to run in the house. For most residential buildings with just ACs and heaters, 200amps at 415v is enough.

    So I guess grounds won't be needed for the boxes?

  • @nadel9
    @nadel9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice work.. One thing of the things I've learned is work smarter not harder.. (not referring to shortcuts)..I guess you have your reasons but why not use duct tape around your boxes instead of stuffing them with cement bags.. Advantages of using duct tape.. 1 much easier, 2, it covers the holes for the screws from behind so concert won't get into them.. 3.no concert gets into the box. 4.for some people it's very easy to clear inside your box when you're ready for it..
    Maybe you've been doing it for years but bending conduit on your knee have to stop before its too late. It's like being a professional opening soda with your teeth for years until your teeth start breaking up...you'll save your self surgery. Yes it's easier and faster on the knee but dangerous.. There's other ways to do it only with bending spring and your hands. Or shoes.

    • @ElectricalInstallationEEE
      @ElectricalInstallationEEE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use hands as well not knee only , but duct tape i've seen jobs where it was used and concrete get into it so it depends on how u stuff your boxes and pipes for me i've been doing this for years and haven't had that problem b4 so it have to do with how u do the stuffing plus it is more of a time consuming thing , papers are easy to take out after very easy , the only problem i had is work men steps on our pipes especially the couplings and birst them and sometimes run the barrow on the pipes and crimp them

    • @nadel9
      @nadel9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectricalInstallationEEE OK cool, I'll give this a try may as well work better than duct tape. My only concern is the holes for the screws at the back of the box

    • @ElectricalInstallationEEE
      @ElectricalInstallationEEE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't think the screws at the back necessary , only ones that are necessary are the ones where the receptacles would screw through and they won't be block only difficulty those would give is when u don't unscrew the screws that comes with it most times these screws give a hard time to take out that's why i took them out when installing them if it is metal

  • @h28721

    What do you do when you have rotted boxes?

    • @ElectricalInstallationEEE
      @ElectricalInstallationEEE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well if you use the word rotted i'll take that as the box is done ,what i do is if it is the ceiling one that is rotted i use a wood block over it or cut it a little wider and put in another one and if is any other boxes i just take them out and replace it .
