Hey bro I just saw ur video an its really helpful an neat an in instrested, two questions I wana ask for the downstairs outside lights an the upstairs switch how do link the upstairs switch to control downstairs outside lights
Good video
You have done so much well how I wish I can work with you
Do you have a conduit video for two plate wiring ( feed to switch ) system on decking/slab?
Love this video
Thanks a lot👍
great video on decking process, can you share the diagram on what you done or doing for easy and well to understand??
I like the way you explain how to pipe up a decking but I don't understand how to run the pipes from the switch to the light . I am doing a small decking i am just putting in 2 lights just want to understand it thanks
Nice video. Instead of jackhammering the beam, why didn't you rough-in the pipes in the ring beam before the concrete was pour? And why is the ring beam poured separate to the slab? In the island where I am from, we do one complete pour (beam and slab) so there are no cold joints.
I wasn't around at that time otherwise it would have been much easier
What is under that wood u put the 5 way connector box, is it ceiling or
Nice job
I’m loving it already ♥️ 🇳🇬
Where should I consider using the 1inch pipe?
The 1" can use for a lot of things such as multiple circuits , water heater , air conditioner or even mains
Great!
Thanks man
I want to know how u determine the size panel wire and breaker used?
Pls what size of generator is recommend for three bed room and hall with 3 AC and 3 water heaters. And the generator cable as well. Pls help me.
Hi, does it make the roof weak?
All da binding wire ting deh, mi done wid dat... I put tie straps on the material list these days. Lol
Well done Sir. ....how do you get rid of the nails used to secure the boxes?..sharp edges when pulling wires even if u break/cut them?
How to get rid of it ? When the board pull down take out the papers first ,if it is plastic box like what i used just hold it with a pliers and pull it out now if is a metal then you use a trizzle place it on the nail close to the whole in the box that the nail come then use a hammer and knock it until it brust off.
Cement bags are underrated in construction
Lol it is a usefull piece of material in many ways trust me.
👍
nice job but change your voice, you should speak loud and clear
God bless you for this information shared
Please how do you calculate the overall load for the house inorder to know the right fuse rating to use?
You can estimate that buy the number of "heavy appliances" you intend to run in the house. For most residential buildings with just ACs and heaters, 200amps at 415v is enough.
Good indeed, but sorry doesn't it need extra paip??
Blessings brethren a 15×14 kitchen how pipe you bring down only for switch and a draw box?
Once you have a feed to it only switches or a wall light pipes would be necessary to send down
Thanks
Respect for the video, quick question...how many 2.5mm cables are allowed to run through a 20mm conduit?
6 maximum
Blessings
please can you help with the calculation on how to know the number of pipes to use for specific work? please 🙏🙏
I was many videos but they donot worry where youtuber understood or not. but this on is fantastic. bet go a head.
sometimes some electrician uses sand in fan box slab installation. what is the purpose of sand inside fan box?
Hey bro will the pvc box hold the fan are do you use concrete screws to help with installing the fan
Concrete screws 👍
🔥🔥🔥
A it man
Excellent content
Appreciated
I might be late with this or to some might be a stupid question but. When doing a decking do i use a 1 inch conduit or 3/4? I am a up and coming electrician.
3/4 pipes boss
In which country do you live i watch everytime i have more interesting in your video
Jamaica . Thanks for watching my videos appreciate it hope you are learning something from it.👍
How do u price a decking
What if they wanna install a ceiling fan in the bedroom, would that pvc box hold it up?
Yes it can but i don't , i use concrete screws mainly to hold it.
So how do you price your jobs with out prints? or do you work with the same contractor so you know what they need
I work with a lot of contractor and yes they know the price
Can you make your ideos capable of full screen...box in lower right corner
U mean like a texting
i would do my work just the same except for the junction box at the camera slot... i pierce a hole in the cover of the box for the camera connection to go through and screw the camera on the cover of the handy box
Ok but using the box instead hold the camera more firmly
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE yes and its also neater...
This has to be the hardest part when preparing the house for wiring, I do electrical work sometimes but a decking this size would probably give me a fight because there are so many pipes.
I know what you talking about my friend i've been there but now it get easy for me and it could have had more pipes if i had turn pipes up plus adding radio to it etc
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE exactly
Remind me which wires run in the conduit pipes which is pushed down at the top of the light boxes ?
You can use 2.5mm or 1 5mm single wires
So I guess grounds won't be needed for the boxes?
No but still have it there for ceiling fans , chandeliers etc
Nice work.. One thing of the things I've learned is work smarter not harder.. (not referring to shortcuts)..I guess you have your reasons but why not use duct tape around your boxes instead of stuffing them with cement bags.. Advantages of using duct tape.. 1 much easier, 2, it covers the holes for the screws from behind so concert won't get into them.. 3.no concert gets into the box. 4.for some people it's very easy to clear inside your box when you're ready for it..
Maybe you've been doing it for years but bending conduit on your knee have to stop before its too late. It's like being a professional opening soda with your teeth for years until your teeth start breaking up...you'll save your self surgery. Yes it's easier and faster on the knee but dangerous.. There's other ways to do it only with bending spring and your hands. Or shoes.
I use hands as well not knee only , but duct tape i've seen jobs where it was used and concrete get into it so it depends on how u stuff your boxes and pipes for me i've been doing this for years and haven't had that problem b4 so it have to do with how u do the stuffing plus it is more of a time consuming thing , papers are easy to take out after very easy , the only problem i had is work men steps on our pipes especially the couplings and birst them and sometimes run the barrow on the pipes and crimp them
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE OK cool, I'll give this a try may as well work better than duct tape. My only concern is the holes for the screws at the back of the box
Don't think the screws at the back necessary , only ones that are necessary are the ones where the receptacles would screw through and they won't be block only difficulty those would give is when u don't unscrew the screws that comes with it most times these screws give a hard time to take out that's why i took them out when installing them if it is metal
What do you do when you have rotted boxes?
Well if you use the word rotted i'll take that as the box is done ,what i do is if it is the ceiling one that is rotted i use a wood block over it or cut it a little wider and put in another one and if is any other boxes i just take them out and replace it .
What's the cost per point
Do you do recess lighting
Yes mostly when i do offices etc only a few people out here want it at there home don't know why but i think they bring off your house
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE yes I love them, I sell the sh..t out of them here
Ok
Where are you located...do u work in st elizabeth
Islandwide
Links in description
Question why do you use paper to cover those box and not duck tape 📼
Both can use
This is a big house, what’s the size service
Really big for them not to get a drawing done but i'm used to it , a 150amp with 50mm wires maybe 70mm with a 225amp one out of both after i check my loads and circuits

@@ElectricalInstallationEEE from the looks of the roughing installation they will have more than one panel, so what’s the sub panel amps will you be using?
100
I need your contact for you to wire my house
Why pvc octagonal boxes instead of metal?
Metal boxes rush too easy if the building stops there ,because a lot of times people deck there house and can't finish it in awhile so the plastic last longer.
@@ElectricalInstallationEEE so the inspector won't have any problems with it and would still pass it?
Like your work so far, really appreciate these videos, keep doing the good work and all the best.
No there can't fail your job for using plastic boxes
Appreciated
