As long as you use a measurement scale, ruler, tape measure, etc against your part. Then when you open in your CAD software, scale the size till it’s accurate to the one in the pic.

If you are using a program such as Silloyett or similar type cutting machine DXF file automatically gives you all your cut lines for that image it works great
