Torbjørn Egner is one of Norway´s most popular childrens book writers. One of his most famous stories is «When the robbers came to Cardemom Town», a tale about the people and life in a small village called Cardamom Town. In 1991 this village came to life as a small theme park inside Kristiansand Zoo outside Kristiansand in Southern Norway.
