Villasimius, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region of Sardinia, located about 35 kilometres east of Cagliari.
The area's most important beaches are Cala Burroni, Cala Caterina, Campus, Piscadeddus, Porto Giunco, Porto Sa Ruxi, Punta Molentis, Simius, Spiaggia del Riso, Timi Ama.

We were unlucky that we had i think 4 or 5 days where the sky was fully covered with sahara dust, so the sun was almost invisible (altough there was not a single cloud 🤣)
