Aside from swapping out Bloodflowers with Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and moving Wild Mood Swings up into the Good category, your list is pretty spot on. The first track off Wild Mood Swings - Want - is in my top ten Cure songs and is as good an album opener as they've made.
Underneath the stars on 4:13 dream is one of the best songs of all time in my opinion! The album is definitely not their best, but it needs to move to good at least!

Very accurate review 👌🏻 agree with 90%…. I learn from this review that there are many albums that I never heard about (all were poorly scored by you 😅) However you forgot to mention and comment Orange 🍊 one of my favorite live concerts!
I feels like you are rating episodes in my life. 😂 Anyway, for me seventeen seconds (my favorite winter album) and Faith are classic albums and Blood Flowers is great. I also should rate "The Top" as good and Songs of a Lost World as great. But I agree with the rest. I also don't care about the remixes and some compilations and live albums. Can you do the same with Siouxsie & the Banshees albums? For me Tinderbox is a classic for sure.
This is truly a cure fan's extensive, thought-provoking work. Im at a lost why you didnt include the In Orange concert footage? For me, I enjoyed this footage so much at the time I converted it to cassette tspe and brought it everywhere back in the day. Its to me quintessential. Classic Cure. It should had at least honorable mention. Ive never considered my Cure collection complete without it. When doing my Spotify, Ill recreate a listing using that concert's setlist. It always satisfies, blends well into other setlists I created, plus other preferred live performances. Further, like any other fan, we all have our preferences. I for one think Kiss Me³ while consisting of some best Cure material ever, sure, can drop a tier. Lost World, too. I've enjoyed listening to it past week, and maybe I'll change it back to your listed position here later. And I'd place Wish among the classics, but that's probably only bcz I waited for it, attended its tour, held it amongst favored memories with friends at that time. Good job with this listing, I've enjoyed this immensely. Caveat-my favored songs on the Lost World release this week are Endgame, and Drone. I think Drone should had been the album's opener, just saying.
The Cure in Orange is an amazing live performance, but, to the best of my knowledge, it was never released on CD, LP or cassette. Otherwise, yeah, definitely ...
Everyone overlooks The Walk EP, which parralleled Japanese Whispers (sans Speak My Language and The Lovecats). What makes it significant is the version of Just One Kiss with that glorious long intro, making the song twice as long as the J.W. version.
@@HexNottingham Those two albums were foundational to my appreciation of The Cure. The standout studio album at the time was Head On the Door but The Walk EP and Concert because of their general obscurity and insight to the band. Just One Kiss is epic off The Walk. That song and Push were the types of long intros I like from The Cure. Of course, Disintegration needs no further comment other than it is the pinnacle of their career.
The Top is great.Piggy in the mirror and wailing wall are some of my favourite Cure songs.Birdmad girl,Shake dog shake, the empty world and banana fish bones are great also. Its a top five cure album for me.Pornography,Head on the door, disintegration seventeen seconds and the top are my favourite five.boys don't cry kiss me and wish are pretty good also.Dont care for faith or the past five albums after wish.
I largely agree with your ranking, with the hard exception of The Top. I absolutely love every single song! It's their most psychedelic album, and I think that Andy Anderson's (rip) work on it is incredible. I can listen to the song The Top on repeat. And while I highly dislike Wild Mood Swings, the song GONE! is excellent. Classic: Seventeen Seconds, Faith (cassette version with Carnage Visors), Pornography, The Top, Disintegration Great: Japanese Whispers, The Head on the Door, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Wish, Songs of a Lost World Good: Three Imaginary Boys, Standing on a Beach, Join the Dots OK: Bloodflowers Non Essential: Wild Mood Swings, Galore, The Cure, Greatest Hits, 4:13 Dream (While I've seen them live over a dozen times, I don't listen to live albums)
I respect anyone's opinion on where albums rank. I'm happy to see so much love for The Top in some of these comments. It's an odd album and all over the place. Which is why I like it. I can say--as someone who's been a Cure fan for about 40 years (though I skipped the albums from '96 to '08 while still listening to the previous ones and only later listened to them)--that this album hits me much like their music did when I was a teen. Some find that too nostalgic, I guess. Thing is, this album doesn't sound like their '80s work, really. It just hits the same nerves.
The discography in the description is a bit messed up: Boys Don't Cry and Japanese Whispers are considered compilations (not studio albums) and The Top is missing. The album "4:13 Dream" is called that because it was their 13th studio album. In terms of ranking, I would put Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and Wish on the Classic tier and Bloodflowers on Good.
My dirty little secret - I make these videos using a lot of notes on a word doc, then have chatgpt summarize them using 4,000 characters or less. It's not perfect, but it saves a lot of time. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
@@haroldvanderbeek4595 The Top is mentioned in the video but not listed in the video description. And calling a record a "solo" album is more a question of branding tbh, as long as you don't produce everything yourself at the kitchen table.
I love The Top. I’m not a massive fan of Wish. Probably in the minority on that one lol. Best albums for me are 17 Seconds. Faith. Pornography. Disintegration. Bloodflowers. Songs Of A Lost World is catching up with their best work for me too.
For me: Kiss Me up to the Classic tier / Bloodflowers down to Good / 17 and Faith up to Classic / Lost World down to Great... I mostly agree with the rest ;)
Want and Bare are amazing songs. Want, live, is a Cure classic. Lots of bad comments about WMS, but whereas I agree it's not a great album, there are absolute gems on it.
I don't know why The Top always features so low on people's lists. It's a great transitional record between the darkness of Pornography and the lighter Head On The Door. It also provides the template for Cure albums that represent the different moods of their music, from the delirious psychedelic pop of The Caterpillar to the dark, paranoid title track. It is probably the nearest you would get to a Robert Smith solo album as he does most of the writing and playing on this one apart from Lol on keyboards and Andy Anderson on drums. Quite remarkable, considering that he was also still the guitarist in the Banshees at the time of recording, the influence of this on the Cure can definitely be felt here. It's maybe not quite a classic but The Top is a great Cure album and deserves more credit than it sometimes gets. However, for me Wish and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss me are classic Cure albums and both superior to Bloodflowers.

Galore + Staring at the sea were my go-to for YEARS
I like the latest album but there is no way it's better than Seventeen Seconds, Faith or even Wish. Same with Bloodflowers. All very good but Seventeen Seconds and Faith are just top tier albums.
I find Wish to be inconsistent and, sometimes, uninspired. The jangly singles are crowd pleasers, for sure. SOLW destroys it, in my opinion. 17 Seconds and Faith are classic. We'll see how the new album holds up as I listen to it in the years to come.
I mostly agree with your list. I would move Wild Mood Swings, The Cure and 4:13 Dream into the non-essential tier. They are all forgettable. Wild Mood Swings is so annoying it almost makes me angry. I have donated all 3 of those CDs to my local goodwill since I have no desire to ever listen to them again. In the top tier time will tell but I think Songs Of A Lost World may very well end up being their #2 all-time album behind Disintegration. It’s that good.
The Cure is one of my all-time fav bands, so I just don't have the heart to really trash anything they've ever done.... but if I ever decide to get hardcore on this, I would likely agree with you. Those three albums lack 'magic'.....
Entertaining video - thank you. I adore KMKMKM so would place it S-tier, but the only real travesty I see here is rating Bloodflowers higher than Faith 🙂
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is the Cure's equivalent of The Clash's Sandanista, in terms of the sprawling breadth of musicality and sheer number of tracks.
I don't think that people think any less of it than it deserves. It's an album that got a lot of people into the Cure who hadn't really listened to them before. I find a bit of it unsinspired and, frankly, boring when held against some of the other works.
I’m pretty sure I have the live on CD, I’ll have to go check but I use to collect everything cure they are my favorite band for the past 35 years, also love the shirt Rush is my second fave band
I think you ranked these pretty well and I loved hearing all your reasoning, but I definitely would have put Wish, Standing on a Beach, and Join the Dots as Classic. How do you not put Wish as a classic?
I agree with you very much with your placements. Pornography has been my favorite since it came out. Faith is also a favorite. I get why you have The Top where it is,as so many do, but I love that quirky work. Kiss Me is fantastic, I think. I love Disintegration and understand why so many have in on top. It has variety and is well produced and, most importantly, great song writing. It's arguably their best, certainly. But Pornography tops it, slightly, for me because of its singular cohesiveness. It's fuckin' dark. It's what I want from The Cure. I respect that Smith and the band looked to move in another direction--artists should (perhaps) not destroy themselves following a destructive path for the sake of creating. Part of me would have, selfishly, liked to have seen the next rung down on that ladder but it wouldn't have been good for them. They've gone on to do so much more and, reflecting, it was obviously a good choice to lighten it up. I admit, I kind of stopped listening to The Cure after Disintegration. I was looking for heavier music and didn't give much of their music too much attention after that. I gave Blood Flowers repeated, fair listen only about 3 years ago. It was as if I had unearthed a new Cure album. Made me VERY happy to feel so sad. "Watching Me Fall" deserves more discussion than it gets, I feel. It's a little long and the dramatic "... watching me faaaaaaaaaaalllll" was a little much. But had they shortened it by maybe 2-3 minutes and relied less on that refrain it would be one of my favorites, maybe. This new album, I fookin' love. The first time I heard "Alone" I thought it merely good but got goosebumps from the experience, nonetheless. Like finding a family member I thought dead. Most of my favorite albums, in general, are ones that were a bit more difficult to really grasp. The whole album has grown on me and has been pretty much every other (avoiding burnout?) album listen since I received it. We'll see how it digests over time but it'll stay up there for me. It's appropriate for where I am in life and makes for a cathartic experience. I'm happy to see that you have enjoyed it so much, as well, and have given it a good spot. A point: no need to revoke anyone's "goth card" for not knowing song names. First, I'm horrible with song names. I'm almost more likely to tell you about how long a track is. Horrible with peoples' names, too. Second, goth is an f'n fashion. Smith, himself, doesn't like the association. All you need to be "goth" is your mum's credit card and a Hot Topic. Lastly, give this album a listen with a good system ON VINYL. The warmth is amazing. Apologies for the long comment but enjoyed your video and felt like it lent itself to a conversational response. Take care and thanks.
For me is it 1. Pornography 2. Faith 3.Seventeen Seconds . From the new album i like 1.Endsong 2. I can Never Say Goodbye 3 .Alone . From Head on the Door is the only Good Song ‘Sinking’.😎 💎👍🏻review
I didn't realize there were Cure fans who disliked The Head on the Door. For me it's an almost perfect album. If I could only pick two Cure albums it would be that one and Seventeen Seconds. Not sure I could make a Sophie's Choice between those two.
The Head on the Door is essentially where I started with The Cure... Followed closely by Standing on a Beach ... Both heavily shaped my opinion of the band. That being said, I might have an overly positive bias toward THOTD......
And by the way, you could also have mentioned the Glove album with Severin from Siouxsie band. Some songs are really sketches for forthcoming The Top album and even Head on the door.
Leaving out THE GLOVE was a deliberate choice as was not mentioning Robert's collabs with Crystal Castles, CHVRCHES etc ... But I will admit that I didn't think of the Glove as being a precursor to THE TOP. Good Point. Thanks for watching and dropping a comment.
Just listened to all my Cure albums up to wish - in my option the new record is good but it only stands up to wish. It’s does not ever reach heights anything close to any other album. Unfortunately that band is long gone that made that amazing sound scape.
Studio Album only: CLASSIC: Faith, Pornography, Disintegration GREAT: Seventeen Seconds GOOD: Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, Wish, Bloodflowers OK: Three Immaginary Boys, The Head on the Door, Songs of a Lost World NON ESSENTIAL: The Top, Wild Mood Swings, The Cure, 4:13 Dream
WMS was the first Cure album I didn't like. Bloodflowers never really stuck for me, though I've listened to it many times. Just can't bring myself to love it. Actually liked the self-titled album that everyone hates more than I liked BF. The new record is already #4 in my top-5 albums
Huge Cure fan. Bloodflowers is probably their last good album. I dont care much for the new album however I have only listened to it once. I just didnt like half the tracks.
The worst part is the best newer song It can never be the same was left off of the new album..Probably my favorite song they have wrote since Want in 1996.
Glad someone agrees with me that Wish is not one their best albums. The bass was mixed down so low on the album that was part of the problem. Listen to the version of "Open" on Bestival it's a totally different song with the bass mixed in better.
There was no band when The Top was written, it was pretty much entirely Robert and Andy Anderson. Porl played a sax part and Lol - MAY have done a keyboard part.
deleted my comment... misunderstood! U had Bloodflowers alone on the top in the end... The Cure was a band from 1979 till 1992 then reemerged in 2024....
I don't understand how we can say that Japanese Whispers is better than The Top, and Bloodflowers is too boring to be a classic ! Nice exercice even if I don't agree with your ranking :)
Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. There's too much wrong with The Top IMO. I don't hate it or anything like that, but if I find myself in the mood to revisit an old Cure album, it's never that one.
Just my humble opinion. Classic: 17 seconds (it is one of their best albums ever, so unique), faith, pornography, disintegration. Wish could have been a Classic by replacing some of the b-sides with the mediocre tracks of Wish. I'd see three imaginary boys as great because of the title song. It's the first song which was different. Songs of a lost world - I'm not sure, but it's at least a "Great". The production is sometimes a bit too loud in my opinion.
I would place only Head On The Door and Disintegration in the Classic Tier for studio albums. Songs of a Lost World has no creative spark. I like Alone, but the heavy theme of the album, its repetitive song structures (do you really need a long intro almost every time? It's unnecessary), there are no risks musically, no shifts in tempo. I'm surprised there hasn't been a dark wave of suicide within the goth culture. With Trump's return to power, I wouldn't fault them. But this is a dirge. Not what I expected after 16 years. Yes, the mood is consistent. A great album if your idea of enjoyment is attending funerals and sitting bedside to a terminally ill Hospice patient in a coma. I would place it in the Good category mainly because I cannot fathom under what conditions in my life I would want to listen to this. I've seen death, I've experienced almost unbearable loss, I've indulged depression and sadness. Life is too short.
My disagreement with this list : Bloodflowers = Good (some weak songs and too long) Concert (1984) = Great (listen to Shake Dog Shake, A Forest … !)) And maybe Wish as a Classical
lets be honest the bar has been set very low since wish... yes blood flowers had 3 or 4 good songs but since then its been pretty dire... that's almost a quarter of a century of nothing... A touring, cash cow playing back catalogue but offering nothing worthy new.. whilst the new album is ok, its very lyrically tired, Smith is a man who's been saying the longest goodbye in history.. its cold its dark, i'm lost its the end.. 1) pornography 2) faith 3) 17 seconds 4) disintegration 5) wish 6) head on the door 7) bloodflowers 8) kiss me kiss me 9) 3 imaginary boys 10) songs of a lost world...
can't understand the love for the new album --- its so lyrically weak...i'm lost, alone, its dark, its cold, its the end, lament... we've heard it all before and done much better... its not terrible, it just par for the course like many 80s bands recent releases.. its an average ok ish Lp but not a patch on 17 seconds, faith, pornograpy and disintegration.. i think that in time people will come to their senses and re evaluate songs of a lost world... i do understand the desperation for something new to like... its not terrible, its just very formulaic..... almost like it was made by a tribute band...
Honestly, John, it might have something to do with the eternal absence of a GOOD Cure album that makes me feel that this is a GREAT Cure album. Whatever it is, I love the new album.
It might be perceived as blasphemous, but I would move The Top to "good", and the last LP to "ok" ... I found this very boring, uninspired, almost a caricature. I would have loved to see Faith and Wish as classics but this can't be said because of weak tracks like like Wendy Time, Doubt, Cut ...
Broad generalization answer: Young Person (gender not relevant), dresses primarily and almost entirely in black, often wears dark make up, known to possess 'doom and gloom' attitude about everything including existence itself, sometimes consider themselves vampires or different otherworldly being..... I'll let you take it from here ...

What makes it significant is the version of Just One Kiss with that glorious long intro, making the song twice as long as the J.W. version.
I like a lot of the songs on THE TOP, the problem is the ones that I find almost annoying. Brings down the album as a whole IMO
@@dougkirk9019 Just One (long) Kiss and Push are amongst my very top favourites, too.
Concert has been released on CD in Europe or at least in Portugal because I have own it for 25ish years.
You might be the first 'don't care for Faith" I've seen in the comments.....
@NOTIMETOROCK I like other voices and primary but not the album as a whole
I largely agree with your ranking, with the hard exception of The Top. I absolutely love every single song! It's their most psychedelic album, and I think that Andy Anderson's (rip) work on it is incredible. I can listen to the song The Top on repeat. And while I highly dislike Wild Mood Swings, the song GONE! is excellent.
Classic: Seventeen Seconds, Faith (cassette version with Carnage Visors), Pornography, The Top, Disintegration
Great: Japanese Whispers, The Head on the Door, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Wish, Songs of a Lost World
Good: Three Imaginary Boys, Standing on a Beach, Join the Dots
OK: Bloodflowers
Non Essential: Wild Mood Swings, Galore, The Cure, Greatest Hits, 4:13 Dream
(While I've seen them live over a dozen times, I don't listen to live albums)
It sounds like you're ready to start a fan club for The Top! Just make sure to have a "No Wild Mood Swings" policy at the door.
@@NOTIMETOROCK ha!😅
The Top is in his list but is in fact a solo album. The band had almost nothing to do with this record.
@@haroldvanderbeek4595 The Top is mentioned in the video but not listed in the video description. And calling a record a "solo" album is more a question of branding tbh, as long as you don't produce everything yourself at the kitchen table.
My bad😅 and kiss me is indeed a classic album. How beautiful you are and if only tonight we could sleep are better than anything on bloodflowers.
Yeh, I think you pretty much nailed this - although I've always loved the early stuff so would promote "Boys Don't Cry" to top tier.
Thanks for watching, and for the validation - JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND!
I think we'd get along just fine on a desert island with nothing but coconuts and a Cure discography.
@@NOTIMETOROCK Haha, true! :)
07:48 It definitely was, I have it on CD. Brought in a Brighton record shop circa 1998
Want and Bare are amazing songs. Want, live, is a Cure classic. Lots of bad comments about WMS, but whereas I agree it's not a great album, there are absolute gems on it.
@@etiennevachon2813 totally agrre. Treasure is a great song as well
BARE from Wild Mood Swings is a favourite
Galore + Staring at the sea were my go-to for YEARS
Probably where I'd point anyone who's new to the Cure.
Fountaines D.C and the Cure High in endlists 2024 i think 😎
I think Fontaines DC is fantastic!
Concert was released on CD.
Came here to say this. Think I had a German import.
I KNOW that ......... now ..... Honestly, I don't recall ever seeing it, but I just jumped on eBay to check and damn .. there it is .. sealed and new
I don't remember ever seeing it but I just looked on eBay and it's there...
I own a copy. It was released on CD in the UK.
100 Years from Concert makes me think of Big Black Kerosene, not the same but same-ish vibe.
You should have mentioned "push" from "head on the door". Excellent Popsong. Otherwise I agree more or less with your evaluation.
i think ur spor on as we say in austrlia. u nailed it well done sir
if i had to choose the head on the door is my fav but can change. cheers
Thank You! THOTD is the Best 'Happy' Cure album.....
the self titled album is criminally under rated.
Agreed, it's very solid but was largely ignored!
It has its moments, and it certainly isn't terrible....
vinyl version with the three extra tracks made it better
If I had made this video several years ago, I'm sure the rankings would be different. No doubt in my mind.
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is the Cure's equivalent of The Clash's Sandanista, in terms of the sprawling breadth of musicality and sheer number of tracks.
One could definitely make that argument. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I would pur Wish on the top tier. I find it to be underrated in their discography and much prefer it to Bloodflowers.
Wish is a "Keeper", that's for sure. Thanks for watching!
RUSH RULES!
I think you ranked these pretty well and I loved hearing all your reasoning, but I definitely would have put Wish, Standing on a Beach, and Join the Dots as Classic. How do you not put Wish as a classic?
Maybe it's just where I was in my life when WISH came out, I don't know ... It definitely has its moments (lots of them actually)
The casette version of Concert had the entire album on side 1. Side 2 was called 'Curiosity (Killing the Cat): Cure Anomalies 1977-1984' :)
lost from my collection long long ago, now I wanna track it down again
Pretty close. I'll just move three around, but who knows how I'll feel tomorrow.
Let me know how you feel tomorrow.... I'm curious .
I have the CD version of Concert.
Can you rank Siouxsie and the Banshees albums 😢
Yes, before the end of the year, I will.
th-cam.com/video/swIRIqH7q1M/w-d-xo.html SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES TIER LIST
The Top Sucks because Simon was not the band. Btw, The Cure live is on CD.
My Classic tier would be Faith, Pornography, Disintegration and maybe also Soalw.
That's a solid "classic" tier, my friend.
Good list! I don't think I'd put any of the 14 studio albums below "Good".
Understandable. But I never employ a 'bad' tier for any band that I enjoy. So, there's that, right?
Thanks for watching, and for the very thought provoking comment(s)!

I feel like Songs of a Lost World is the lovechild of Disintegration and Wish. I'm happy to skip anything made between Wish and Songs of a Lost World.
Not enough love for Kiss Me
I gave it a LOT of love in 87, that's for sure. Thanks for commenting.
Weird that theirs and XTC’s debut each had a herky-jerky cover of a Hendrix song! And yeah, I know Watchtower is a Dylan song. Still weird.

CLASSIC: Faith, Pornography, Disintegration
GREAT: Seventeen Seconds
GOOD: Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, Wish, Bloodflowers
OK: Three Immaginary Boys, The Head on the Door, Songs of a Lost World
NON ESSENTIAL: The Top, Wild Mood Swings, The Cure, 4:13 Dream

GREAT show, but like 'in Orange', it was only released on home video formats, and not on CD/LP/cassette.
WMS was the first Cure album I didn't like. Bloodflowers never really stuck for me, though I've listened to it many times. Just can't bring myself to love it. Actually liked the self-titled album that everyone hates more than I liked BF. The new record is already #4 in my top-5 albums
Thanks for commenting! Interesting perspective!

Если это было вашей отправной точкой, я прекрасно понимаю ваши чувства. Множество их лучших песен!
Glad someone agrees with me that Wish is not one their best albums. The bass was mixed down so low on the album that was part of the problem. Listen to the version of "Open" on Bestival it's a totally different song with the bass mixed in better.

I might have rated THE TOP higher if I hadn't listened to it very recently. I thought it was great in the late 80's

DISINTEGRATION, magnum opus and bestseller at 4 mln, let's not be shy to prefer it.
Loud ... that's interesting ... It is very "full" IMO
@@NOTIMETOROCK It's full, no doubt. I've just read somewhere that 2 versions are around done by different mastering engineers.
@@borislavvonberlichingen5394 , wow, now that is very interesting...
Thank you for your very well considered opinion and the time it took to share it. And thank you for surviving; life is, indeed, too short.
You are crazy....
You lost all credibility by calling The Top, Ok. It's classic psychedelic Cure.
Very polarizing album. Don't let me stop me from enjoying it!
My disagreement with this list :
Bloodflowers = Good (some weak songs and too long)
Concert (1984) = Great (listen to Shake Dog Shake, A Forest … !))
And maybe Wish as a Classical
"”No Time to Rock??" BAD channel name.
It was either that or "Clean Up in Aisle 6". I stand by my choice.
lets be honest the bar has been set very low since wish... yes blood flowers had 3 or 4 good songs but since then its been pretty dire... that's almost a quarter of a century of nothing... A touring, cash cow playing back catalogue but offering nothing worthy new.. whilst the new album is ok, its very lyrically tired, Smith is a man who's been saying the longest goodbye in history.. its cold its dark, i'm lost its the end..
1) pornography
2) faith
3) 17 seconds
4) disintegration
5) wish
6) head on the door
7) bloodflowers
8) kiss me kiss me
9) 3 imaginary boys
10) songs of a lost world...
can't understand the love for the new album --- its so lyrically weak...i'm lost, alone, its dark, its cold, its the end, lament... we've heard it all before and done much better... its not terrible, it just par for the course like many 80s bands recent releases.. its an average ok ish Lp but not a patch on 17 seconds, faith, pornograpy and disintegration.. i think that in time people will come to their senses and re evaluate songs of a lost world... i do understand the desperation for something new to like... its not terrible, its just very formulaic..... almost like it was made by a tribute band...
Honestly, John, it might have something to do with the eternal absence of a GOOD Cure album that makes me feel that this is a GREAT Cure album. Whatever it is, I love the new album.
Unpopular opinion I think Kiss me kiss me kiss me is bloated and needs less tracks. Not essential for me, maybe great, definitely good.
Kinda my take, too, in a way. Could have one really amazing single album with the right track selection.
Good thing we don’t rank YOUR videos….
LOL, I know I wouldn't to do that.......
Sorry. but I don't agree with Mild Mood Swings.
You don't need to be sorry.... I still think you're cool
I disagree with Head on the Door as classic, the album is just too poppy for me.
I think that since I started from a pretty balanced starting point, I'm pretty cool with The Cure's brand of 'pop'.
Totally agree re Bloodflowers. Easily their best since Disintegration and far, far superior to the new album.
Bloodflowers doesn't beat you over the head with how good it is. It just is.
