I love my liter cage. Mine is setup on the seat tube like yours and it's surprisingly low profile for what it is. Yes, carrying the extra 8oz of water is totally worth it on those longer rides. Plus the Nalgene's volume indicator helps you measure out for coffee and recipes while traveling. Thanks, Mike!

I've had a couple widefoot cargo mounts on my ogre for about 8 months now. They work great. I've loaded as much as a 2L growler on each and they've done fine.

Great assessment. I really enjoy how you get right to the meat & potatoes of your subject matter. I wish all You-Tubers would learn how to do that! Nice mounts, but it kills me how expensive niche products are, no matter what their use is. I get that companies need to make a profit, but most people want the most bang for their buck. And I can easily afford this stuff. You can buy 5 Rock Bros for the cost of 1 Bags by Bird. I'm always looking for the middle ground, which isn't easy to find... Thanks!

I have moved away from Nalgene liter water bottles for touring and now I'm using stainless steel one-lite insulated bottles they fit nicely into the liter cage . I also have replaced the standard water bottle cage with the Cargo mount for touring. It gives me more options for storage: for 1.5 lwater bottle, or a stuff sack.

Yea I totally could see that cause the water does heat up super fast in those bottles

Looks like a good product, around the same price as the Tailfin cargo cage. Bikepacking can be an expensive hobby, fortunately there are affordable options, like the Blackburn cargo cages, not as good looking though.

I love my Cargo Mount. Nalgene hack. Use traditional Camelbak or other water bottle tops to be able to drink 💧 without unscrewing the top
