    1. She should be paying minimums on her other debts and attacking the credit cards aggressively while she postpones her savings. Then the next highest interest debt.
    2. I have 3 pets and only spend $100/month so her expenses should be way lower especially taking away the barkbox crap.
    3. She could drop her cell phone bill by at least half by going prepaid.
    4. They should probably be looking in to getting a cheap commuter if her transportations cost are that high unless she has to pay for parking at her work then maybe it's okay.
If she put all her savings towards debt she could probably pay it off in a year. She would be able to save 3k after shes done with debt so she can have a good amount after another year of savings. You're welcome, that will be $85/month please.

Most Millennials are becoming aware of the benefits of minimalism and foregoing starting a family, because personal freedom is of primary importance to happiness.
They don't need marriage or a family to be happy.

You know what Dave Ramsey is going to say? When you still owe a lot of debt, no job lined up, the only reason you move is because of your partner, going to a foreign country where you will be far away from your support system, sounds like a gamble to me. This is not about being young or being open minded. This is about knowing the risk and still decide the take it because of so called love. If she decided to move to Germany for herself nobody can say anything about it but she didn't.
