Hello! The Audio/Video button on my Jags display is greyed out and there is no volume at all, including Parking assist. I checked fuses and relays... Do you know if that part you replaced causes this?
Had a look on 2014 xf unbolted seat and like magic the radio came on, so when I have a bit of time I'll check it all out to see if it's wire, connection, etc basically blank screen on header unit I've moved the wires under seat and all seem ok thinking connection. To bluetooth unit
I just bought 2008 Xf model and is just showing on the screen the Jaguar display and that’s it. When I reverse or something no parking sensors. It is possible to be the same problem with this Bluetooth module?
Thank you for your video very helpful! My question is how do you prevent them from getting wet when replacing since this seems to be a common problem? I'm wondering if wrapping in electrical tape would work...
what's the name of the silver product you said at the beginning of the video it's your old Blue Tooth module and at the end of the video you said these 2 parts need to be replaced. Confusing
@@PRSQUAD88 hey thanks for getting back with me so quickly brother let me ask you this did you check it out and remove these modules before you purchase the new ones or did you just purchase them because you knew that's what it was is there any way to tell that's what it is before purchasing them?. Also what's the name of the other module not the Bluetooth one I got that one down but the name for the other one? I appreciate it man your video was very helpful I hope it proves to help me once I can get these few answers
Was up man hope you’re doing great , I have a 2009 Jaguar XF supercharged and I just find out that the Bluetooth module and Sirius module both part were missing when removing my drivers seat, Does both part has to match the same numerical number or can I get them from different Jaguar because I’m braking my head trying to figure out this part or any recommendation ??? , thanks 👍
No don't have to be exactly the 5.0 the one I got what's off of a 6 cylinder Jaguar Fx cuz you're not going to find a 5.0 supercharged it's rare to find them and you don't have to match the numbers hope that help
@@PRSQUAD88 I’m having trouble finding a Bluetooth module with the connector wires for a 09 Jaguar XF supercharged , you think you can help me out looking for the parts how much cost I will pay you , I live in the Bronx and I check on eBay and doesn’t have the part , Thanks
@@ManuelPerez-ss6eq it doesn't have to be the supercharged one that can be a V6 as long as it's the same model mine is off of V6 same thing I had a hard time finding it cuz you won't find The Supercharged 5.0 those are rare
@@PRSQUAD88 it’s been months and months looking for any Xf that could fix but no luck and even in NY I went searching in junk yards and every one says they don’t have any part for Jaguar and here in the Bronx is very rare you see a Jaguar XF supercharged, like I don’t know if you can find in a junkyard and I will hook you up Alex
Your problem is the display screen keep blinking ? My problem is the display screen keep blinking. Cannot turn it on. So I change the two module then everything Will be settle ? Hope to get your answer soon :)
How's going man I was able to find both parts and plan follow your video exactly as you laid it out. At LKQ online which is one of the places I found one of the items the rep explained to me that once I'm done installing it if Jaguar doesn't program it I might as well just bought paper weights because they won't work. Did you have to contact Jaguar or go to Jaguar to have them program the module after installation? Thanks a lot your videos the only one I found with this subject so I really appreciate it
The ones that I installed was used I didn't have to program nothing it worked I don't know about brand new if not return the new ones and buy used so you don't have to go through the hassle sometimes Jaguar don't want to do anything like that or they can't do it you know how dealers are they'll give you the runaround
@@PRSQUAD88 perfect advice my man they were both used so I'm encouraged by your comment I didn't realize that might be a difference maker so yes I'll get them on and let you know how it turns out. The dealer not only wanted to charge me for the regular cost of whatever the labor would have been if I had taken it to have it done from A to z with them but they were going to charge me the full amount as if I bought the parts from them unbelievable! I appreciate you my man
I'm not sure about the part number depends on what year is yours I got mine at a junkyard it doesn't matter if it's a 6 or the 8 as long as it's the same model of your car
The button that controls the volume it's not working. Would you know how can I fix it.
Thanks for your help.

In looking for those boxes if u could point me in the right direction

Satellite radio module
How do u test to know which one is bad?
Actually, I didn’t even test them. I just replaced them because they’re known to fail on these cars. For some reason they get wet.
What are both pieces called and do you need to have the battery disconnected to fix it?
Yes you do have to disconnect the battery the second one is satellite radio module and the other one is a Bluetooth module
What's the name of the second part you're holding?
Sorry for late response. But its a satellite radio module.
What’s the name of the part
Hello, did you solve the error of the parking sensors at the end of the video? Or how?
I don't have that problem
The radio keeps flickering on and off and will not stay on, was that your problem ?
Yes that's exactly what mine did
Hello sir do you still have that module The extra one you mentioned the Bluetooth one?
Nope got rid of it
