This really reminds me of my local christmas market in Germany. You could think you are in Germany, but once you see the Chinese signs, you know better 🤣 Thank you for showing us what the Chinese christmas market in Shanghai is like! 🎄✨
I’m thrilled you enjoyed the glimpse of Christmas in Shanghai! It’s a fusion of cultures that makes it special. Your thoughtful comment brings a smile to my face. Sending love from Shanghai! 🥰
Hii! Thanks for watching my vlog and leaving a comment! 😊 You're right, the first market, the German Christmas Market, is at the Rock Bund, located on Beijing East Road and there is an entry fee of 30 yuan (around 4 dollars). The night market you're asking about is at Jing'an Kerry Center and it's free to enter. This market is located on West Nanjing Road. Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy visiting them ! 🎄✨
@@GummyCalico Aww, thank you so much! 🥰 I’m so excited for you !! Shanghai’s Christmas markets are such a unique experience, I'm sure you'll have a great time in December! Wishing you a wonderful trip ! 🦋✨✨
So Xmas is not cancelled in China as other TH-camrs claimed. Since someone mistaken you as a German, consider changing your channel name to "German in Shanghai" to counterbalance the YT channel "German in Venice", that is the city of Venice, California, USA. Also, how do you stay so fit with all the delicious food in your videos. I gain weight just watching them.
Unfortunately, there's an abundance of misconceptions and misinformation surrounding China. It seems negativity grabs more attention, leading many to share inaccurate details for popularity. It's disheartening. I firmly believe no country is as perfect or flawed as portrayed in the media. German in Shanghai idea is amusing hahah 😄 Your support means a lot, and I genuinely enjoy our interactions. Noticed your absence on my few recent vlogs; I was a bit concerned. Glad you're back! Thanks again for your continued support and engagement 😊😊💕
Thank you for your question! Shanghai has several Christmas markets, each with its own schedule. The one featured in my vlog is one of the biggest and usually starts at the beginning of December. I hope you get a chance to visit it this year! 🥰✨✨
The Christmas market looks lively, and with a bit of snow, it would be perfect.🎄💕
Yes, exactly ☺️

For obvious reasons nobody celebrates Xmas in my special town. 🚫🎅🚫
That’s intriguing! Every place has its own way of marking the season. What do people in your town typically do during this time ?
