I freaking love this! I have 3c/4a hair and my hair is the exact same length as yours when I blow dry it out. I want a loose fluffy wavy look and this is perfect! It was so hard to find a video like this. Thanks!
Omg this video was such a vibe 🥰 LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR HAIR😍😍 I will be trying this process on my hair. I’m a 4c girl and want to see how this will look with mine✨💙 thank you so much! 🙏🏾 also, ummm I need your playlist because 😅..
I came here SOLELY for the cocoon curl method because my hair is very much like yours and I struggle with the straggly ends! 😩 You are giving me life with your hair routines, I lost the motivation to master my hair but I'm inspired again because of you☺️ PS: I'm a little bummed because you confirmed the dreaded fact that I really can't be a "lazy natural" & I need to put a few hours into my hair to get the results I want😭 but it's ok, a small price to pay for BEAUTIFUL hair 😍
I would love to see a video on the week on braidout. I love how fluffy! My hair is really long and type 4. And I’m looking for more fluffy styles. I’m so over the super defined hair!
girl you are so BEAUTIFUL your face literally stopped me from scrolling. you look like one of those pretty porcelain dolls or paintings of beautiful women. wow!
Why do you do the bantu knots before? Does it help to give the hair more definition or make it last longer or both? Love the look that you achieved - makes me want to invest in that dryer to help with straightening during the drying process
Oh really? It gives great results but I know some people see it as too much work 😅. It’s not once you actually do it tho. I looked up the brush and my hair screamed! It’s so picky. Only the tangle teezer has worked for me, not even wide tooth combs.
I do! I try to avoid products that have glycerin and if I know the humidity is high that day, I’ll walk outside with a light scarf covering my hair. But if the glycerin is listed as the third ingredient and I make sure my hair is correctly moisturized, then the humidity won’t be too much of an issue.
I also have type 4 hair and I use the Revair to blow dry my hair but I tried the braid out and let it set overnight. Unfortunately my hair looks good for 10 minutes then it is no longer defined. It frizzes up. What can I do? Can you explain about the glycerine? Maybe that’s my problem. 😩 Thanks
I personally don't like to use products with glycerin because it makes my hair revert much more quickly. I live in a humid state and I try to keep my hair moisturized. I don't need that extra help from humectant products, BUT my sister also has type 4 hair and doesn't have an issue with glycerin. For the style not lasting, maybe switch out products? I usually have about 3 or so styling products because some work better with my shrunken styles and others work best on my blowouts. I've definitely experienced my blownout braidout lasting a good 10 minutes (tragic) and it's usually because of the styling product I used or the leave in I used for blowing out my hair. It's a truly a gamble of experimenting and documenting what products work for what style.
Hi! currently trying this hairstyle, fingers crossed though- I did my bantu/ braids muuuuch smaller! My question is about your blowdryer! Do you prefer it to the traditional blowdryer/ would you recommend it? It's pretty pricey but I'm willing to invest if it contributes to the health of your hair! Thanks so much in advance!
Hi! How did it turn out? I do prefer the Revair because it’s easier to use and causes less stress on my hair. I started experiencing more growth because it allowed me to style my hair with less manipulation and breakage. And it made doing protective styles much easier. It is pricey 🥴. I used a payment plan when I purchased mine.
@@desireekiandra1464 It came out pretty good!! I even did 7 braids to sleep, like you recommended, and was amazed at how well the original curls held out! It's day 2 and my hair still looks really good and doesn't feel dried out which is a surprise because my hair is always feeling like it needs to be moisturized. Thank you so much for replying! I definitely will read up more on the Revair because I'm striving to keep my hair as healthy as possible even when incorporating some heat. And tbh a payment plan sounds right up my alley lol!
I transitioned from heat damage when I started my hair journey 8 years ago. I have not experienced it since then. I find that the Revair is gentle on my hair, a lot more than other blow-dryers I have used in the past. I tend to use Argan oil as a heat protectant but I would encourage you to research and find a heat protectant that will work for you. You can limit how much heat you put on your hair either by only using low settings or only blow-drying a few times a year.
girl you are so pretty🥺
thoink_ tanana 😭Thank you, girl!
I agree, she's gorgeous
Girl
In my opinion your hair was pretty straight out of the puff 😍

Definitely could’ve rocked your hair out the puff, blown out, Bantu knot out, AND the braid out 😩😍🔥🥰

New subscriber!!! Btw, you are beautiful ❤️
Why do you do the bantu knots before? Does it help to give the hair more definition or make it last longer or both? Love the look that you achieved - makes me want to invest in that dryer to help with straightening during the drying process
Hey! I mentioned that it helps my hair to clump, so the Bantu knots help out with that. Thank you!
Ok got it - thanks for the reply
✨obsessed ✨💖💖💖
Why do you braid it after the Bantu knots are out? Jw
beautiful hair. LOL, she has like 10 x the hair I have
maybe more!
How can u maintain this without braiding every night
Dang lady, you’re gorgeous!
Your hair looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this technique. Do you remember where you got the large toothless pink hair clips you used?
Oops. I watched again and realized they’re not toothless.
This is the exact way I do my hair! 😲 except i use the Cantu detangling brush
Oh really? It gives great results but I know some people see it as too much work 😅. It’s not once you actually do it tho. I looked up the brush and my hair screamed! It’s so picky. Only the tangle teezer has worked for me, not even wide tooth combs.
Where do you get your pink hair clips? ♥️
Thanks for the very informative video!
Thank you! I’ve had them for a while. I either got them from Walmart or my local beauty supply store 😊
Is that drier fine for people with natural hair and trying not to get heat damage?
Do you live in a humid place?
I’m just wondering because I do and I find it hard to pick the right products for my humid hair.
I do! I try to avoid products that have glycerin and if I know the humidity is high that day, I’ll walk outside with a light scarf covering my hair. But if the glycerin is listed as the third ingredient and I make sure my hair is correctly moisturized, then the humidity won’t be too much of an issue.
Really helpful video! Thanks so much, you’re gorgeous btw 💗💗
Oh you’re so kind! 💕💕
Does the revair use heat?
Love it.
I came here for the styling, but that music though....❤
The music please
Can u post a video of ur wash day, please?
Sure! I’m working on that video now actually ☺️

Do you get the same results without blow drying?
I get similar results but with more shrinkage. My next video will cover it!
I’d like to see a wash n go routine luv this channel
Oh goodness, wash n go’s do not like me 😂. But, when I do a wet braid out or twist out, it usually reverts to a wash n go. I can do that!
