  • I created this video around Thanksgiving (2020), and it was during a time where I was dealing with an overwhelming schedule and low energy. When I have the sudden motivation to do my hair but limited time, I use this method to skip past first-day hair flatness and to maintain the beautiful results until it is time to wash my hair again.
    Products Used
    Not Your Mother's Naturals- Green Tea & Apple Blossom Butter Masque
    Love Beauty & Planet- Argan Oil & Lavender Smooth & Serene Conditioner (Misspelled in the video)

    Melanin Haircare Twist-Elongating Style Cream
    The Ultimate Detangling Teezer
    Laila Ali Ionic Soft Bonnet Dryer

    Watched all 3 videos, I think it's the music and the chilled vibes for me and your calm personality🌸😊.

    Would it be possible for you to upload videos more regularly, I love your content and hair tip. Your braid out methods have changed the game for me and I made it last 7 days when they usually don't even last 2.

    Great video per usual! Do you get your hair professionally cut/shaped or diy?

    Where did you get those little clips you put at the front of your hair? Love the video!

    Hi! How often do you wash with shampoo? Do you always find deep conditioning first to be helpful?

    • @desireekiandra1464

      I always push off shampooing 😂. I try to at least once a month, though. And I do find deep conditioning first is helpful for me. My hair tangles soooo easily and it just melts away the troubles before I detangle.

    How do you avoid single strand knots with braid outs? My hair is always rubbing on my clothes and getting knotted 😭

      Those are the worst. Refreshing my hair every few days with water and oil, and then rebraiding has helped with preventing single strand knots. And if I know certain clothes cause my hair to knot, then I’ll only wear them when my hair is up and away from the fabric.

    May I ask what's the reason behind skipping the cleansing step with shampoo?

    • @desireekiandra1464
      @desireekiandra1464  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Shampoo makes detangling take a longer time for me and I didn’t feel like doing it in that moment. I shampooed the next washed day when I had more energy.

    What hooded dryer do you use?

    • @desireekiandra1464
      @desireekiandra1464  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s in the description box! The Laila Ali hooded bonnet dryer. It’s probably branded as the Revlon iconic bonnet dryer now.
