The hammocking community is genuinely one of the best that I've ever encountered. Having people who also spend a bunch of money to live like we're housing-challenged (or whatever the PC term is now) is truly unexpected and such a delight. I went to only a couple of small group hangs in Colorado but moving to North Carolina, I now feel like I'm in hammock hang central! Made a lot of great friends and continue to see them at other locations. Thank you for hosting the page where group hangs are mentioned, and for showcasing the best of the hammocking community.
Looking forward to hopefully attending PA-ANF Summer Hang-MidHHA, depending on work schedule. Thanks for the resource Dutch. You're a pillar of the community.
i havent seen Adam from HG in a video in a while, i still love my 3 quilt sets i got from HG, well actually all my gears from the hammock industry, my last one was nearly a dutchware advertisement, hammock ,dynema tarp, cook pot, spoon.
Hey Dutch! You're awesome! I've had a couple of chances to shake your hand and chat and these in person exchanges have me feeling guilty for not being the biggest Dutch Bling fan! Appreciate what you do for the hammock world!!!
My first group hang was at the last Dolly Sods group hang. I tend to be shy, but went anyway. I met some of the most awesome people at that hang. They are still my friends to this day. I have never met a more friendly, helpful and just plain fun group of people than at a hammock hang.

As a 63 year old soon to retire, can I follow a hammock hang season by bicycle. Trying to combine bicycle touring with a hammock system.
The east coast has the most hangs. Check out our calendar/map for more details. dutchwaregear.com/hammock-hang-events/
We were at over 600 this past January at HangCon.
It was an awesome hang!
I live in VA and have never heard of MAHHA.
happening this weekend. Drive up for it!
You should certainly check it out!
I’m honestly surprised that there are NONE at or around Utah…
Give it a shot-just try to make a Facebook group page-see if people join up.
Arkansas needs a group.
That would be awesome! Maybe you can start a Facebook page and head one up?
@@dutch3323 I posted about it in a hiking group and someone created one. We're up and running and one person already commented about hosting an event.
@@rungavagairun That's just great! Keep us posted, and we will get your hang on our events page! dutchwaregear.com/hammock-hang-events/
