It is really cool. The Maori language and culture will live on and always part of the identity of Aotearoa. That's what makes me really proud to be a kiwi!
The first thing that comes to people’s minds when they think of Australia is their creepy crawlies and deadly snakes when it actually has a really cool and vibrant culture so keep it up
also they are very good art I'm a kid I'm 10 years old so I'm learning about the aboriginal people how they talk they dance they eat,how to do art I'm learning all about it and also I'm learning about cocktails they are so CUTE!!!!!! I like your video so much thank you for showing us the video
Good on yer mate, keep at it & learn all you can. There are a few other videos on this site that you might find helpful, also check out our other channel ozpix.
I actually contacted the Indigenous group from Currumbin Sanctuary that probably performed this, and they said that they don't usually allow people to video their dances as they are sacred, but they thought it was ok to show this video to inspire children as long as the children make up their own movements to express themselves and not copy the movements on the video as they are sacred to the Indigenous people. So if you do that you should be alright :) All the best!
Hi Rosanne, it's great that you could contact the group. Can you please confirm the name of the dance (or the word for Crane the speaker says in his introduction)... is it Karogan or Paregan? I also need the video for a PE (Rhythmic and expressive movement activities) resource folio (for uni assignment). Thanks in advance :)
Hi, I have shown this video to the three year old's at our kindergarten to provide them with an understanding of what a Carobari is. I am having difficulty hearing what area this dance originates from and what language is spoken. Can some please let me know so I can show them one our language map. Thanks
Hi what clan group and place are you from? I am a non-Indigenous student teacher from the bunurong area in Victoria. I was wondering would you mind if I use this video for a performing arts lesson at a primary school and get the kids to make up their own song and dance that is like an Australian animal? What do you think? Thanks :)
Thanks, pity about the bad quality, this was before TH-cam improved their processing. The original is so sharp I would like to repost it but that would lose 21,000 views.
Can anyone tell me the origin of this clip? The name of the group or part of Australia they come from? What is the language of that group of people called?
Hello, we are interested to some dance parts of this footage for our music clip. We would be glad if you allow us the royalty free usage. You will be linked, credited and thanked.
Hello my name is Erika. I go to the United Nations International School. I am going into 10th grade and we have to do a Personal Project. I decided to show cultural dances form each continent. I really like this dance and music but first I need your permission to use it. Can you please reply to me saying I can use this exact dance and song. And if you let me use this dance, can you please tell me what the title of the song is called. Thank you.

Hi am wondering if it is possible for me to do the same as rosalngua has asked. I want to show this video and ask the children if they can make up their own dance that is like an Australian animal. Do I need permission to do this?
