I'm a frequent flyer and have been buffeted about by most major carriers. It's odd, that of all the times I have flown Flair, to Kelowna, to Fort Lauderdale, to Vancouver etc. etc. their flights have been on time and the inflight service very pleasant. I think they are doing a great job and seeing as what they have to put up with from our two major carriers, they have blossomed and are establishing themselves as a low-cost carrier. Like any low-cost airline, follow the rules, know what to expect and you will not be disappointed. Bravo Flair, keep up the good work.
I agree on all those points, you fly low cost, you know what you are getting into and should not be disappointed. My first flight and return home went perfectly. They did however cancel another flight on me the day before and it took a long time to get a refund. That as my last flight with them.
People complain because they want 1st class service with Emirates for $150.... Canadians need to be educated on what a low cost flight is, you pay that price don't expect anything other than a seat. They'll bill you for everything else, which makes sense..... Nice video !
I’ve flown flair four times before I have no complaints. all flights left in time arrive on time or early but one flight left half hour late from Kitchener to Vancouver but arrived early got a good jet stream 😊 smooth landings too
@@ice711real Good afternoon from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I've never flown flair before, so it's great getting to know what they are like. Personally, I've been aboard westjet, air canada, korean air, asiana airlines, and jeju airlines.

Hey I have had a nice experience with flair back last year, this was a soothing and good experience. It works great. Especially with the cheaper prices and decent cost.
I’ve flown them only once, but had an experience just like yours, on-time flight, efficient and polite service, decent space and good price, so what else can we ask for? In contrast, my last 5 flights with Air Canada I had 4 long delays and one cancellation, all of them with rude flight attendants. I don’t even bother with them anymore
Flew on them in march 2023 other than a 1 hour delay coming out of Toronto (to be expected when flying out of Pearson) and my flight and seat feeling crammed because it was full. However at the end of the day I am 6”1 so most seats feel crammed but the flight really wasn’t that bad 7/10

Enjoyed the glorious engine views on this review! Flown Fair Airlines twice so far on my way to Calgary and Vancouver, never had any issues. Flights were on time, Cabin crews friendly and good attitude and they get you from point A to B safe and sound. I personally think many of the poor reviews come from uninformed and ignorant people who pays low cost no frill fares and expect full service carriers perks.
I appreciate Ice711 that you are now taking interest in Canadian airlines, I am a big Canada fan. And I don't know why people give so low reviews on low cost airlines because in the end, it gets you to where you wan't to go.
My experience: Stranded me in Orlando. Could either wait for 3 days for a possibility to get on the next flight, or get a refund. Took the refund and paid 4x the price for a last minute ticket on another airline. There were people stranded there who'd already been waiting for 3 days. Zero communication to passengers.
Flew on flair on 21st July 2024 from Calgary to Toronto on FLAIR 737 max 8 C-FKLO amazing experience with flair with very smooth landing I will fly it again once I’m in Canada 😊
ice 711 small mistake there 8:25 if the plane was delivered in 2022 then its only 2 years of age. but if the plane was delivered in EARLY 2022 like january or smth then it could be 3 years old. but defenitely not 4 years old.

Flown several times with Flair, they aren't any worse than Air Canada for service. They have financial issues which could cause them interruptions. These days any airline is a gamble.
Really good video here. I wish the camera focused better on prices for the menu items. I was interested in seeing the options and costs . And I am sorry if I missed the time , in air , from Toronto to Vancouver
This is a wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing! The views of the Rockies are spectacular, I enjoy them as much as my actual time spent in Vancouver. And your landing approach is beautiful, you would have flown over Iona Regional Beach, which has a jetty that goes about 4 km into the water. Stand at the right spot and the planes fly right over! Always fun to wave planes in for a safe landing! Thanks for your great work!
It would’ve been cool (or not) for you to do a video on Swoop airlines which was another budget airline with mixed reviews, it was basically the budget sister company of WestJet as WestJet owned Swoop. Unfortunately Swoop was absorbed into WestJet on October 29, 2023. But some aircraft from Swoop still retain their original livery with just the WestJet logo on it.
I have always been hesitant to fly with them due to their reputation but since Covid things have gotten better for flair and porter, maybe they can actually make a good run at it this time. I have flown a bunch between YYZ and YVR. Overall it doesn't really matter the airline you fly, a much more important aspect is the aircraft. When presented with the oppurtunity its usually best to fly on Air Canada's A330. 2-4-2 plus 18 inch seat width is generally the best config.
We have flown twice with Flair airline and paid extra for the front row seats. Both times they had given them to someone else. We had to speak to the airline to get a refund for both flights, but we did get the refund very quickly. If they can get that straightened out then I have no problem with the airline.
I took Flair from Kelowna to Calgary and I didn't think it was necessarily good, but not bad either. It took me to my destination and back with no issue. But it was practically what you'd expect from a budget airline. The seats were quite crammed and I was stuck besides some random elderly couple and felt way too packed in with them lmao.
What and amazing views you had! The planes are quite new - so the windows aren't scratched yet, so it's easier to film. I had a good experience with them on a flight to/from FLL - once I was onboard.
