I have watched A LOT of walking videos, and yours are my favorite! Nicely shot and edited so I don't have to watch every single step, great info in the captioning, and all set to fantastic music! I hope all your videos are this well done. Finally, I dont feel bored on the treadmill. Great job!

Thank you. Hopefully, the newer videos get better as this is one of my earlier ones. I'm still walking the coast path, around once a month, so there will be more, It's nice to know you are watching them on the treadmill. Thank you for watching and your kind comment, all the best, Webby 👍

Thank you, it was from watching your first videos and Captain Dan that helped inspire our trips. We can't walk as far as you guys but we have had some wonderful day trips doing it.

Great Video. Always nice to take the first steps on a long distance walk. We completed about 10 plus a
    failed Coast to Coast.
We had walked around Chester but missed the canals, shame as the Shropshire Union canal was probably our least
walked. The National Network cycle poll reminded of the one in Sandwell Valley near the River Tame on the
    Beacon Way.
    All the best, Peter.

Hi Peter, yes The NCR 5 markers reminded me of some of the ones around Sandwell Valley. It was great to start this adventure. That video seemed so long ago, I remember being nervous about the walk as we had planned it was about 14 miles, and we had not walked anything that long before. It was all good, though. We walked the canal in Chester but once home and watching other videos I realised we could have walked some of the walls. I will have to do a walk around Chester video at some point. Thank you for watching, All the best, Andy👍🏻

Before I watched this I'd never heard of Saltney or knew that Chester has such a maritime history. It makes sense they're not that far from the coast. Awesome canal there. The walks looking good. All the best. Mark

Thank you Mark, yes that was the first time I had walked around Chester, gutted to watch a recent video and we could have walked along the city walls. Will have to go back and do a walk around Chester.

Between Shotton and Flint I carried on the road missing out on the Marshlands before Flint. It was after doing this walk I had the books to guide me on the walk.

Ohh I enjoyed the little marshland detour. It was a break from the road walking. Though it was quite muddy when we ventured over there. I have mapped out what I have walked on Google Maps if it helps, on www.webbyswalks.co.uk. cheeky plug. Thank you for watching, All the best, Andy 👍🏻

Nice video. That’s a long way though!! We messed up at Oakenholt when we did it and missed out the flint marshes! If we do this bit again, we now know!! 🍻

I had seen the sign on a previous video I had watched, I did my own Google map before I went to use on my phone, available on the website to go with the videos. Plug plug, I would love to see you guys version of the walk. Do it.... Do it...Do it (I'm chanting that last bit)

If you are using the train you can halve the route I did by using Shotton station.

@@WebbysWalks well you’ve inspired me with parking a car and getting a train! We’d not thought of that and that could work for the walk pretty much as far as Anglesey !

@@PostcardAndAPint Yea I always do the public transport first, just in case, don't want to do a long walk and then find out they have stopped running because of a leaf problem. There's a long gap between Flint and Prestatyn so it was busses for us.

Enjoyed that thanks for doing it, I live nr Flint and being a mob scooter rider always looking for new trails but have realised the Coastal path may not be suitable in parts.

Hi, A lot of the path would be suitable from Chester to Flint. Although we crossed the river at the big blue bridge, the tarmac path continued to the next bridge where there were ramps at each side and a path leading to Shotton Station. I'm not sure what that path was like, though. The grassy bits after the bridge can also be avoided as there was a tarmac alternative for the cycle route. And then it was mainly road walking to Flint. I opted for the grassy sections as I thought it was the official coast path. But from Chester to Shotton, it's all tarmac paths along the river. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Webby 👍🏻
