I am so glad you are a responsible breeder who went through extensive cleaning/disinfecting (due to no fault of your own) to ensure all your current dogs and future dogs will be safe. I am so glad the two puppies survived.
Yes! Many prayers were answered that these two puppies lived through Parvo! Thank you. I will do my best for any puppy and dog in my care and I am always open to learning better ways of doing things - that is part of what I love about this community - we share our learning with each other. Thank you OrganicGal! (My body now needs a detox because the smell of chlorine is coming out of my pores 😂 )
Responsible breeders don't breed parti-colored Schnauzers. She's a backyard breeder. Not only does she not breed to the clearly defined standard, she doesn't know how to groom them. These people need to be shut down.
Not sure I understand your question - perhaps you are asking: IF you've had a dog with parvo who was on your carpet what do you do with the carpet after the dog was on it? If that is the question, wrap up the carpet and store it for 3 - 5 years before using it again or if it is wall to wall carpet, any dog that comes into the space where the carpet is would need to have finished the DHPP round of shots before coming in contact with that space. Any dogs that haven't finished their DHPP round of shots would need Monoclonal antibodies from a vet prior .... please understand I am giving you my best understanding of what I think you are asking me and you would be wise to discus this with your vet before bringing any dog into your home after a parvo case.
Can you take the puppy to a doctor and then you can take care of your child? I am confused by your comment and wonder if it may not have translated correctly?
@@svccschnauzers mam.. My gsd had been diagnosed with parvo virus.. And am happy to say that he's in his recovering stage.our vet doctor gave him iv fluids and injections for 6 days continuously.. His bloody Diahorrea has stopped and vomiting also stopped.. Still there's smell.. What I meant to say is that, we where not given proper instructions as to how to clean our house properly.. We didn't follow instructions you said. So am worried whether my kid of 5 yrs might be in contact with the virus. Or other members of my family will get the virus as we did sanitize - but not properly.
@@JenniferK-zy4sd I don't think you or your child can get this virus in a way that would be hurtful to your body. Puppies are at risk because they don't have strong immune systems to this virus. They need 3 - 4 DHPP shots to build the immunity before they go out in the world where there is likely parvo virus that you and your child have already come in contact with but your body and your 5 year old's body already has a strong immune system! It is important to deep clean your home so other visiting puppies don't get the virus.

Also I am glad to know your puppy is healing and will survive this deadly parvo virus.
