An extraordinarily fine presentation. Many thanks to Pioneer and especially Audiofreeq for this. The quality of the information, the balance between critical theory and real-world applications, the depth of the understanding and the incredible generosity of the presenter makes this one of the finest audio seminars I've ever had the pleasure to see, easily of the level of an AES presentation, where it would be among the better of those. Cheers and success to all involved.
Its funny comparing this from frontliners tutorial, frontliner goes right into the more creative side of things but so much into the technical side like audiofreq
@ AUDIOFREQ @PRODUCERS Why does he use so much Bitcrusher? I know he says he uses it as a clipper. But what does it actually do? And is it soft clipping or hard clipping? And how does he get the 2nd 3rd harmonic spike so big and precise? What do you distort to get it like that?
Our ears are just shaped differently because of genetics, we're human beings, sorry man... HAHAHA!!!! On a serious note, fucking excellent tutorial! Thanks Sam and Pioneer!

Thank you guys for uploading this :) Awesome tut, i like it that he's not shown everything precisely, so that we can play around the details :)
There is no more, and with this info you have it all to make a huge kick!
Im impressed because I learned some things in the video on my own :)

Best teacher ever.
Many thanks to the organisers and Sam for doing this!
Dost my eyes deceive me though, Massive was being used as an insert FX?
It's nice to see him make a screech, but I wanted to see the last part too lmao
these vsts are voxengo span and s(m)exoscope

"we´re human beings, sorry man!"
haha!
When is part 3 coming :D?
Something is wrong around 48:00 how does he connect Massive to change the pitch of the kick?
He didn't connected the kick, that would be impossible, actually I think the bass of the kick is synthesised with the Massive.
We do not have part 3, the video was not right and the good stuff is in part 1 and 2!
i think not :P he said he used the time& pitch machine :)
Vet!!!!!
which Filter does he mean by saying "order filter"? or maybe i didnt understand him...
at 7:11
That kick was unreal :|
HE TAKES THE WATER BUT DONT DRINK
You promised it!
hmm still dont get how the autofilter works
What kind of camera is that? The dubstep camera or what? ahahahaha 56:07
That's how Chuck Norris drinks his water, problems with that?
wut, did he pitched the kick in Massive? o_o
ty :D
Look to Frontliner kick tutorial ;)
I recognise a voice at 56:48
cover up because video 3 is the crucial elements ;) haha just kidding
How did you use your sampled kick in Massive? I can't find a way to use massive for pitching the kick. Anyone who knows?
use massive as an fx plugin, so basicly, cut tail from kick, onto seperate channel, then add massive to the fx chain and viola
I just want to say that "viola" doesn't mean what you think it means. I french "viola" means "(he) raped". So you don't really want to use that.
YAEHHHHHHHH
Whoops-y daisy,.
yoo
urgh..to BUY a plugin though..
aaand they messed up the vid at the and
I've copied exactly and something is not right here. Even after 1 distortion and eq using drumazon it sounds completely different. Lies lies lies
Exactly. Did u find out what it was?
