I would think if you could just get past a two year point maybe that would somewhat subside..?... as you would have experienced several cycles of A growing closer with B, then later B growing closer with C, then A growing closer with C, and around again. Everyone should love and be in relationships that feel right for them, and they seem very much in a loving balanced relationship. Every relationship brings its challenges, and they have worked at it. There are millions of children that grow up with single parents or parents that aren't their biological ones but also have the biological parents in their lives (grandparents raising their grandchildren while the parents work or adopted children) and most turn out pretty normaly so I don't think more love will hurt a child. Kids don't care about the relationship between the grown ups if everyone is happy and loved.

My husband has a girlfriend, seeing him smiling and happy with her brings me so much joy and happiness it's rediculous. Then there's the added happiness that comes from my relationship with my other partner. Jealousy is really a non issue for us, and if someone gets jealous we sit down, discuss why they are feeling jealous, and what we can do to fulfill their need that isn't being met.
