- St Therese of Lisieux (1873-1897) was a French Catholic who became a Carmelite nun at an early age. She died in obscurity at the age of 24. However, after her death, her autobiography - Story of a Soul was published and became a best-seller around the world. Her books explained her spiritual path of love and selflessness, and she became one of only three females to be considered a doctor of the Catholic Church.

My Patron Saint. She shares the same birthday of my firstborn daughter. Claire. A carmelite nun helped with the name my second daughter. Her middle name. Faith. My son volunteered his time to help clean the grounds of the Carmelite Convent on the back river in Savannah, Ga. I loved her little ways. God put her name on my mind when I converted to Catholicism. I later discovered she shared my daughter's birthday. She was originally due on Feb.14. God had other plans. Bless me God. Shower me with Roses. She suffered from Stigmata.

My grandfather was on his death bed, my father had gone through to another room to speak to a family member, as he was returning to my grandfather's room he saw a silhouette through the frosted door that he swears was St Theresa, when he entered my grandfather's room he had just passed.

Therese never pursued holy orders because these are restricted to me. She pursued entry into monastic, consecrated life. Otherwise, I liked and applaud the video.Thank you for your time.
