If it helps, there's a few plastics that can be fused back together using acetone, instead of glue, it effectively dissolves the shallow surface and then re-sets as the acetone evaporates. When it's the right plastic it can be extremely effective and look better.
@@DoubleMonoLR I'll definitely look into that! Thankfully it's not the worst damage I've ever seen (some end up absolutely shattered into 100 pieces) so it shouldn't be too noticeable anyway. Still unfortunate it happened but oh well what can you do
If you don't have the manual for the Car Marty, it's on the internet archive in Japanese and the drawings should be enough to figure out how to connect everything.
LOL, that was the Marty I was bidding one... Good get! The Car marty is basically a FM towns. There are screens, the drive that you have, anttenas, looks like you might have most of the cables. The controller you have is for the Navigation, get a standard marty controller for normal game play. Also look at Tindie for an adapter for video out. Otherwise you can get a OEM component cable, also pretty rare.
@@OGRetroRebirth I'll make sure to check that out thanks!! I believe the harness I got with it has video out but if for whatever reason it doesn't work right, I'll check out that breakout board :)
that shipping box was not packaged good at all, i use buyee and the way they package stuff is just great. it would take throwing the package from a building to make a scratch.
Yeah I filed a claim with them so hopefully once they do their investigation on it, they'll be able to do something for me. It sucks the SFCBox got damaged but almost everyone I know who has one had the exact same thing happen to them
@@gregjarvis1232 I already took it apart but only fixed the tray since it's much easier to get to the that than the GameCube board since it's right at the top. Plus, I have a Freeloader disk which lets me keep it stock while also playing any region games which I'd rather do imo
If you search "Panasonic Q Region Mod" there should be quite a few videos on it. I just have plenty of GameCube consoles and a freeloader disk so it just really doesn't make much sense for me personally
They're really neat systems but unfortunately it seems most have at least some sort of problem. Unfortunately my car Marty won't go past the splash screen on startup :(

@retrozerosix Weldon works well for that

ANOTHER BANGER
Wow never even heard of some of these before lol. Really cool though
I'm glad I was able to show off some stuff you've never seen before! :)

does psx play blu ray or its just up to ps2?
It just plays CDs and DVDs but it's able to record and burn disks which is really cool

Nice pick ups! bottom right on that Marty demo is Capcoms Muscle Bomber :)
Thanks!! Just from a quick glance the health bars looked like punch out so I had to do a double take 😂
Known outside Japan as Saturday Night Slam Masters.
🤘🤘
You may to consider making the pansonic Q region free seeing as your going to open it to fix the dvd tray

You need an Aiwa Sega-CD Boombox now.
@@OGRetroRebirth trust me I really want one 😂 it's just a little outside my price range lol
I'd be interested in a Qube running American software. Never seen that before.

incredibly jealous of the hotel SNES & Phillips GameCube man, awesome stuff
Thanks!! I've been wanting both for a super long time
Oh so it was you who wom that mvp-10 with fdd-1 on yaj recently. Well done
Perhaps 😂 I just saw a CIB MVP-1 sold a couple weeks ago and I would have loved to have that too
@@RetroZero64 Would you be interested in a trade for that FDD-1 floppy at all?
@@RetroZero64 The FDD-1 Was what i really wanted from that auction. I grabbed the other auction that had the Fujitsu Ten 8000AV monitor.
@@monstermug honestly probably not but I guess it depends on what you have to offer

neat

I was real close to buying a Marty a few years ago!

@ yeah they seem to be prone to failures ;-(
Yeah hopefully I can get a working one some day
