I could remember walking into different coloured spaces in a ballon structure in the 70s and each room was a different colour, lead into another room of another colour. It was the feeling of being surrounded by colour which the artist was trying to create. Red colour was a bit manic and green much more serine. It was a good way of surrounding yourself with colour, though it was taken down after a short while.
