yk ever since tiktok i still come back from time to time to check on this absolutely amazing professor lol. my biomolecular cell fundementals professor could never :)
i’ve been to the sun tunnels twice! I’ve also been to the spiral jetty 4 times now. one of my favorite trips i’ve done is when i saw them both in the same day it was a long drive but the views and the experience of it all was amazing
the road i drove on to get from the spiral jetty to the sun tunnels was called the transcontinental railroad backroad byway and i didn’t see another soul for 90 miles while driving on it, though i did see some abandoned mining towns. it was so serene and beautiful but also terrifying lol.
My God this Michael Heizer piece is incredible. As someone who is (an appreciator!) a musical Avant Garde-ist of the first order....this piece by MH is exactly on par with musical Avant Garde-ism! Thank you TLC for another Master Work presentation!!
I'm going to uni in the Netherlands and using your lectures to study for my western art history course. Thank you so much for putting these online! I hope I'll be able to impress my professor during my exam :)
I got to experience The Gates. It was so lighthearted and joyful!! Have also seen Goldsworthy’s Storm King Wall many times. It’s a favorite and actually goes through the pond and resumes on the other side
Heifer work will freak out archaeologists in the year 5000. What does it mean, where did all tho people go without a trace, how could they make this, was it aliens?
re-watching this video years later because it completely changed how I view contemporary art!
I watch these for fun! Thank you for the engaging and truly enjoyable content.
