Just a quick heads up - this is a preview of an early build of the soundpack. Many sounds are missing (like the rack fan spooling down on rotation), and many sounds are subject to change, as we are constantly receiving feedback from pilots and ground crew that worked around the aircraft. So listen everything with a grain of salt, as the soundpack could only get better and more realistic from this stage. Thank you for taking the bit of your time to enjoy some iconic Maddog sounds with us! 👍
It's already out for XP12, check out MD80 Pro Cockpit Sound Immersion v2 XP12 on the ORG store. We will probably update it with some sounds from the upcoming MSFS soundpack.
Great work as always, I know this is WiP but dont forget to add that whining sound that spools down when the nosewheel lifts off. I think it was some kind of pump or fan and it is in your original pack for P3D. Also will we still have the option for the quieter engine sounds in the cockpit?
Yes, avionics spool up/spool down sounds are WIP and are not included in this video. The engine sounds still can be heard in the real aircraft, but only barely when the engines spool up while on the ground, what we are trying to replicate. A bit louder in our soundpack truth to be told, to cover all simmers needs. We are also considering including a very quiet version of the engines in the same package. It will double the size of the package though.
@@ImmersiveAudio A very quiet version would be great. A lot of people seem to have a difficult time grasping just how quiet the engine sounds are in the cockpit of this aircraft.
@@SouthernPacificPatch Let me just say, I get it. I just find it boring. I need sound as I don't have much else terms of movement, buttons etc. I love the optional route, you want dead quite, have it so, let me have the noise! :)

I always wondered what instrument produces the constant rattling noise in the cockpit. And why :)
The ticking noise is gyro. :)
Cheers
great!

Will this work with the MD-83/88 expansion on release?
It probably will. If not, we will make it compatible as soon as possible.
