Just make sure not to leave any apple seeds in the apples before baking them as they could make the bunny sick or be a choking hazard. Lennon is adorable.
People thought so for a long time. But in fact a bunny would have to eat a ton of apple seeds to get sick. So the amount of seeds an apple contains is not problematic at all.
It is best not to take chances having your bunny ingest any poisons of any amount. They have sensitive stomachs and digestive systems. Also best not to give them any choking hazards. Bunnies are unable to vomit.
Trader Dave Couldn’t agree more! It is well publicized that too many seeds are toxic to rabbits, so why even take a chance by including them? Simply core the apple before slicing! Using an apple corer would make this even more easy!

The honey is optional guys! Yes, bunnies can have a a LITTLE honey :) Please only use a little! And also remember the roses should be organic/pesticide-free. Try your local farmers market or grow them yourself! Xo

You have so many great ideas! Roses. Wow! Didn't think of that. I have dried dandelion roots/flowers, raisins, kale, dried hibiscus flowers, and rolled oats as my bunny's main treats.

Put a handful of pellets and a tiny amount of berries and bananas then mix in hay which you can find at the bottom of your hay bag then blend these together and bake it you will be done
Lennon The Bunny I just seen your video and it is super cute. With all the treats you mad can I use the same recipe for my guinea pigs
Half a of a small banana mashed,
1/4 cup of ground oats,
1/8 cup of mashed carrots
Mix everything together, then get a baking pan and put parchment paper on it. Heat oven to 350°. Make little 1 inch round cookies and put them on the baking pan.
Bake for 1 hour or less. Turn oven off and leave the pan in there to dry the cookies for 1 hour. And done your bunny has yummy treats, but give only 1 treat a day.
I cannot wait for summer now so I can pick roses off my rose bush for my bun buns! How awesome. Thanks!

I adopted a rabbit a month ago and have been religiously watching your videos since. She's my first rabbit, as I never thought I'd be able to own such an animal, and I always heard terrible things about rabbits.
The day I met her, she was at my apartment's adopt a pet day, and I held her for about an hour and just fell in love. I knew I didn't know much about rabbits though and stayed up all night doing research until I felt comfortable enough in my decision to adopt her.
The next day we drove an hour to go adopt her.
She was found in an abandoned home with a bunch of other animals, she has cataracts in one eye, her cage was falling apart and the poor thing reeked of urine, her paws super stained. But she is the sweetest thing. I knew even at the shelter she was in, they didn't know how to take care of her properly.
I've been tending to her and giving her all sorts of loves, grooming, basil and sometimes little apple slices when we get to bond together, and I've been working her towards being able to live life free roam, or at least have her own penned part of the house. As I don't think she's ever lived a life outside her cage. I know you said to do it as soon as possible, but I've been trying to work her way up to it, and she's doing amazing.
I just want to thank you for everything you've done for Lennon and yourself, and all of the people that watch your videos.

GRAVITY they cant be store-bought. They need to be pesticide free. Try s local farmers market or grow them yourself :)

Lauren Fiecke yeah! I kind of did that - I used the cookie recipe, and put slices of strawberry on top of each one :). We met with our bunny agility club today, so we brought the cookies, and each bunny got a cookie, and we gave the rest to the shelter bunnies. It was a lot of fun! Thanks for these snack ideas! I have bunny cookies in the oven now! I also have carrots and apple slices in the dehydrator. I might stick the cookies in the dehydrator too depending on the consistency when I pull them from the oven and let them cool. I can't wait to see my bunnies excitement over these treats!

Charlie On toast 9 weeks is too young for a rabbit to have any fruits or vegetables. You can begin introducing very small amounts of veggis & fruit at 3+ months of age. There are some excellent rabbit sources online like rabbit house society & binky bunny that helped me when my baby rabbits were born & growing. I strongly suggest you do a lot of research online reguarding your rabbits diet and health, it will only help in the long run :)

AzuTea my bunny is around 5 weeks old and she loves to eat fruit and vegetables! We are still bottle feeding her but we are weaning her off. She is perfectly heAlthy and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to eat fruit or vegetables later on in their life instead of now.

bunnies can eat rose leaves
removing the leaves helps dehydrate the roses faster :) Plus, they are just meant to be rose head snacks anyway :)

I just recently got my first ever bunny (literally only a few days ago) and have made the dried apple, carrot, pear, and even banana. They're now all mixed in a little jar and my Charlie loves them!

Love this on!!! I give them dried banana chips too (natural not soaked in sugar). and I'm going to go forage for dandilions in our pesticide organic yard i the next day too! Found a friend with a willow tree and gathered a few branches that had fallen too. They love chewing on the willow!

Is your rabbit still with the mother? The only thing a rabbit that age should be eating is his mothers milk and a few nibbles of pellets
Hello you can feed him this but like for all changes in alimentation you should not give big portions, just slowly increase them (my bunny are in hay/pellets/veggies for winter and i progressively change their alimentation in spring to finally give them 80% of vegetation.) Now they are eating in an enclosure for the most part of the day (i have a big garden, and i just change the enclosure from place to place so they always eat fresh) in any case always provide him fresh water, lots of hay and a little bit of pellets and increase fresh food slowly. Have a nice day
PS? What do you call bunny food? Avoid the bunny mixes and give him pellets instead (always changing slowly)
