I think what this game really needs is a crossover with the classic Lawbreakers series. I want to play a Battle Royale game with iconic Lawbreakers characters, such as Serious Woman with Futuristic Battle Armor, Serious Man with Gun, and my all time favorite, Serious Man with Gun Who Can Also Jump High.
You know, you actually have quite a good idea. If they brought in the well-advertised mobility and shit from lawbreakers, in about 6 months they would actually have a half-decent game on their hands.
And said copied game also copied another game, which also copied another game and then that game took inspiration from a movie which was based in a book that took the idea from another movie.

Just like 99% of other modern racing games.

Then why not show it with things like exposed plywood, support beams, insulation and the like? It's no subtle secret that most of these buildings are basic geometric shapes with developer textures slapped on.

John Carpenter's Escape From New York would have been a nice starting point for an 80s PvP survival game. Maybe they wanted something bright, and felt the urge to copy the cartoon rendering every free-to-play game has been using since Team Fortress 2?
