I find it interesting that you can climb rocks for overlooks and show us how steep it is and how far down it is from those rocks and think nothing of it, but you are unable to walk across a perfectly fine bridge way up over a gorge or river.

ive hiked this trail from 3 angles.. best one was from where you parked but I headed left next to the old military site, did a figure 8 and ended up at chimney rocks. good hike

Thanks for te walk along to the peak! Too bad you don't have time to hike to the Lewis Rocks.....over above Tumbling Run nature preserve. Its not too far from Michaux Rd., along rt.233. There is a pull off lined with large rocks and the downward slope takes you tote creek before you trek upward to where 'The Robber Lewis" hid from the lawmen.

Seen on a online news feed that the old brewery you was in that was in Mahoney,pa Kaiser Brewery..they were evacuating ppl from around it cause it was in emanate state of collapsing.....

yeah, I saw that article. It wasn't leaning like that when I visited the place.
