Adding in the music makes such a big difference. I wish Disney just paid up for the rights to the music.

Wow! this is great! I also picked this up at D23. I would say the only two negatives I would give this playset is, 1. Video tracks are cut and out of order, and 2. No John Williams music. Your video shows what could have been possible. Otherwise, this thing is worth the $300 I paid and still think the cool factor is a ten! BTW Great job syncing the audio!!

Thank you!! I would like to know the reason why it was released the way it was. Still an awesome set though.

they're out of order?? I knew that you had to push a button to continue when a scene "ends" so to speak, but so weird that its not even in sequential order. And yeah, cutting music HAS to be a rights/money issue. But honestly, I probably won't use the in-ride movie function as much anyway. It's a cool bonus. (family member in orlando picked one up for me yesterday!)

In theory, if someone wanted to hack and mod this, they could connect raspberri pi 0 (their tinytest) to the display (if not stock, then a replacement display), and have it play whatever clips you wanted. Of course, you'd probably lose the function of the lights flashing in the cabin, as its probably all tied together on the circuit board. But, if it ever becomes defective, it's an idea.

I’m sure someone will at some point. Time will tell if these screens will last a while. Would be fun to experiment with
