I teach war of 1812 to second graders and our curriculum sums it up about the same as drunk history did. There was a real big crazy storm and everyone went home, the end. No real winners.

It was actaully since this was before the mini ice age, which made europe colder (since it was warmer) and better for farming, and greenland before, was probaly green, or atleast the coasts, and when the ice age hit, it made it colder,then it iceified, and, the mini ice age around 1280, caused greenland to iceifiy, by 1300, but, the vikings were right.
