Dawill44 it's too much of a hassle. basically dodge just after a charge and enter a sword combo, if you do it you can maintain a "buttonless charge" and free yourself up for more combos. just tap the gun button to release the charged shot.

You can cancel its attack out with the aquila's heavy attack, rebellions light charge attack, eryx's charge attacks, charge heavy attack with osiris or trinity smash with arbiter. I find using kablooey or revenant to be useful as well
You can use fireworks while charging rico shot,you just can't shoot the shotgun because you're still charging the rico shot.you can switch guns while charging.you can charge the shotgun,then switch to ebony and ivory and do the rainstorm.
@@yungsh0w you also can buffer both charge weapons and skip em with roll so you no longer need to keep button pressed, this way you can use rainstorm while charging rico shot.

It really isn't the character is just plain edgy, like shadow edgy. the combos feel lackluster, and the gameplay is significantly slower compared to the other games. It's a good game, not a good devil may cry game.
You shouldn't have titled the video gunslinger because you are not using gun combos much at all, more swordplay and alt weapons + powered up moves. I am also quite good at this game and all the previous ones. Re-title the video because this is not gunslinger.

Just stay calm and juggle. Lift the enemy and let him hit the ground only when he's in pieces XD
