- During a visit to Louisville I traveled the grounds of Eastern Cemetery.
The tragic history of this place isn’t covered in this tour but I recommend checking out the documentary Facing East to learn more about its history and the work being done to care for this location.
Thank you for all the support!
🙏
I work right next to this one. It truly is a beautiful place. But as you said, with the state of everything, gives off a very mournful feeling. Thank you for capturing it.
Thanks for watching! The history of this place is pretty sad. Make sure to check out the documentary that goes through all the crazy and sad things that this location has been through. th-cam.com/video/bdx1PmVDud0/w-d-xo.html
I love going here. It’s quite peaceful to sit in the back. Sad history.
Thanks Jason. Sad that these graves seem forgotten. Not one flower.
There is a cemetery here where the kids (and some adults) graves are decorated with flowers,
balloons, windmills, solar lights, and toys. It looks fantastic in the daytime or at night.
Thank you for remembering these folks, Cave hill should buy this cemetery a take care of it, so these people won't be forgotten. Just found your channel and subscribed. Enjoyed your videos
It would be nice if someone could give this place a little more of the love it deserves. The folks who volunteer are doing a really good job but can you imagine if they had more resources?
Thanks for another great video Jason. It does look a bit unkempt unfortunately. A large range of dates on those stones left readable, is it the climate or the actual stone used that has caused the inscriptions to be weathered away??
A little of both. These monuments of the past aren't meant to last forever. Make sure to check out this documentary to learn more about the sad history of this location! th-cam.com/video/bdx1PmVDud0/w-d-xo.html
Hey Jason what happened to Patrick from the Haunted Side seems like he disappeared
No clue. I haven't talked to him in a couple years.
