Mmm the "time in min" vs range added graph doesn't makes much sense to me. I think the time in minutes needs to be divided by 10, right? For example, it makes sense you charge 200 km in 20 minutes, not in 200 minutes...
It would still be wrong though. It's showing almost linear growth of range for time added. That's of course not the case at all. Something more fundamental wrong in that graph.
Oh, I think he set iD 7 ProS as a base line value. Then others are compared to it. So the time component isn't reading anything specific. It's just how much range others gain compared to the "blue line". That's why it crosses points always on x 100, y 100 and x 200 / y 200 and so on.
Hi, sorry, but I'm not sure if that the "Range added in time" graph is correct. First of all, the minutes are ten times too much, but the main problem is that the curves are too linear, especially the ID.7 pro S. Thank you anyway for your work!
In an other video you claim the Pro S has 2 modules more but here we clearly see it is just one (with updated chemistry?), since the voltage is not 14/12 but roughly 13/12.
Really appriciate your work 😊 However, the pro s do not have noticable higher consumption than the pro. I know your range test showed a difference but that is likely due to test errors. For instance, tires that has some wear has lower rolling resistance that new tires, the Tourer has higher drag than the hatchback and so on. Thus the final graph should use the same consumption to be fair.
I hope VW will release this battery for other MEB cars as soon as possible. Anyway one question, is on your list (will you have access to ) the new Audi A6 ?
The graph with km over time, is wrong, the id7 pro S gets much more than 200km range in 20 min and so on, the curv is too linier, it makes no sense at all😅
ID 4 with the new motor can also pick at 175 kW. Charging graph for ID 7 is better mainly because of cooling power. ID 4 tend to overheat the battery at around 50% and that’s why it slows down the power more aggressively.
best charging VW - of cause, but the competition is far ahead . And even Tesla has now added model 3 long range rear wheel for 45000 € with 700 km of range and a lot of things in the car that id.3 is missing. If you add those extras - and many you can not even order - add up to a price of 44000€ but with a small battery and no range and missing extras. Unfortunately it is a famous slow charger - compared to the teslas. Another battle lossed and with referral the tesla becomes even cheaper.
With what is so far ahead compared to ID 7 Pro S? -ID 7 has 709km vs Model 3 702km WLTP range. -Model 3 is with 1-2kWh/100km more efficient (not that big difference) but is a smaller car. -Model 3 picks at 250 kW but ID 7 has higher average charging speed, which is more important. -ID 7 is around 10-15.000 more expensive but you get similar leasing rates (in germany) -ID7 has better comfort and a better ride quality. -ID7 is more practical due to hatchback boot and has better space.

Seems reference charging speed to ID7 Pro S 😂
Look at those climbing curves after 300...
Great result! It also seems id3 has a battery update. VW website claims 165 kw for a 59 kw battery. Can you also test that spec?
Hypercharger HYC400 does 600 A burst
I’m not sure the Range added in time chart is showing the correct data. The time axis shows up to 400mins!

Did you even test the Pro S or is it only the Tourer?

70 % in 20 min it is good
but 20 min to reach 80 % would have been perfect !
Can You compare with Ioniq 6?
Der neue Audi A6 soll in 10min 300km laden...... Neue chinesische schaffen noch mehr. Die saugen mal eben 550kw auf. Der id7 ist Alteisen 😅
Oh no, they will kill the battery! 😱
Volkswagen dropping their prices from one week to another, they are desperate and in real trouble

ID7 not far behind.

Is that 700 km range tested in the real world or from Elon's ketamine dreams ? As usual with their range figures.

@@Manu-P8 I get it now. The author of the original comment was just comparing the real test to PR BS. Why am I surprised at all?
