man i thought the 450 was assisted opening when you first opened it . the pocket clip seems a little wierd normally zt and kershaw have pretty deep carry clips but im sure there will be a sweet aftermarket clip out soon if there isnt already . great review zel
Nope not assisted but it's well dialed in and the pocket clip hasn't been an issue, it's long enough and has enough tension to keep the knife where it should be. But, yea there are probably already aftermarket deep carry clips out there. Thanks for watching and have a great evening.
Nice knife and great review !!! I'm trying to safe up to buy a higher end knife then 20$ to 45$ range I really want the zero tolerance 0350 have you checked out that one ?
I've handled one and it's a solid knife, but I haven't bought one because the recurve blade is irritating to sharpen. In the ZT line at that price I would pick up the 0566. Thanks for watching and have a great evening.
The places I saw it, the guy got beat up pretty hard in the comments, but not everyone reads them so I've brought it up a few times and will continue to talk about it when the opportunity arises. Got to help where I can. Thanks for watching and have a great evening.
I haven't even had to loctite my ZT0452CF, but I'm sure it has some factory loctite on it and it is one of the 2015's that I haven't opened up yet (no bladeplay). I opened up both my ZT0456 and ZT0220 from 2016 just to dial them in for the best release, those definitely needed the blue loctite on keeping the pivot solid. The 0220 is a beefy blade.
Player Review Once I have a knife dialed in, I always give the pivot a drop of locktite, just prevents future problems. The 0450cf has a coated blade, which complicates things a little, as the coating will wear in the pivot area over time.
just wanted to let you know Zel that your reviews are very well done, thank you..
Thank you Harold, I try and I'm glad your enjoying them. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
That price was amazing 7 years ago! I bought the blue magnacut version when it first dropped (Nov 2023) and gave over $260 for it. 🤦🏻♂️
ZT does an amazing job on their CF. I really enjoy my 0452.
yup, one of the few production knife companies to really get it right.

Sorry Jay, I have no idea, it was a long time ago. Probably between 15-19 degrees.

Thanks dub, it's a keeper for sure. Thanks for watching and have a great evening!
I shake my head thinking someone is out there recomending/using Red loctite on knives. Good advice for those who don't know better.
