I also got tons of self help books and looking at them now, unread and now getting rid of them because years out of my teens I’ve realized I’m not as broken as I thought and I’m enjoying figuring stuff out. A great unhaul!! I also LOVE ‘memorial’ by bryan washington. the paperback cover is just perfect! I also just read ‘the year of magical thinking’ by joan didion and i enjoyed it!! hoping you do too when you get to it!

Daily Jones truly is the best TJR book, I've read it physically and I think I'd re-read it physically again - not that interested in the audiobook although people say it's amazing :- ) Becoming is great and that one would probably be awesome to listen to as an audiobook :- )
SOOO TRUE it IS the best TJR❗️ I liked the physical reading experience so much more than the audiobook despite hearing so many positive things about the audio experience. Oooo and I’m glad you liked Becoming!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

You can probably unhaul The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker.
The author said it was a tribute to the women and girls who were ruined because of war but reading it felt more like a tribute to Achilles and Putroculis (i spelt that wrong i know).
It was just not good at all, i gave it 1.5*

My villain origin story on book organization is that I've been reluctant to put books I haven't read on my shelves... so they are on the floor. Oops.
Oh! Since you said you love baseball, I have a book to recommend. I recently read "Where Nobody Knows Your Name" by John Feinstein, and it's a nonfiction about what life is like in the minor leagues. The author covers several players, coaches and even a few other "random" people who are associated with minor league teams over the course of a baseball season. I'm not very into baseball but I picked it up because my husband likes baseball a lot, and I really enjoyed the book.
