He has such bad ptsd he can barely remember things that I believe he repressed, and yet he still tells his story and smiles and laughs genuinely. I’m kind of fascinated with Pete now. All the best wishes to him and thanks for the interview.

That's a very good point. I also got the impression that the poor guy has a very so slight nervous disposition which he tries to hide. He's seen it ALL ;(
prison is the type of thing that while being absolute hell, actually has a lot of things funny about it.
@@jamesblake5176james u have never been prison let alone in ecuador so u cannot speak
The laughing is a coping mechanism definatly , can't imagine having to witness what that poor bugger had to...
@@leemackay888 He was a big time cocaine trafficker...
Let’s start a go fund me. .. for Shaun to have central heating ...
He needs a silent heater
He needs to do Wim Hoff training .
Would ruin the dynamic of the show.
It's such a weird vibe
😩 i can feel the cold here
Pete is genuinely an incredible story teller.
Love how Pete laughs at the very worst of each situation.
He reminds me of a friend who laughs when he’s scared or nervous. It’s not always good for my friend as he looks like he’s laughing at someone if they are angry with him. Pete seems to have a very likeable personality.
@@jambutty2218 Its with a lot of people bro
Also one completely normal think is to smile before someone cries because its a reflex when not wanting to show somebody that he or she cries and wants to go on talking
What you are explaining isnt that normal but still a lot of people do that and yeah it can be pretty bad in some situations
Dark sense of humour. No doubt very desensitized.
@@jambutty2218 he does seem likeable. This mustve made him good at networking. He comes across as a straight talker and relaxed when he talks. Theres somethimg about him which commands respect.
I know! 😭THIS EP Blows my mind & breaks my heart!
don't think another podcast comes close to this one. My favourite guest yet!
Very intense story. Must literally be like a frontline soldier surviving a war
Very very few soldiers ever see even 2 men die let alone over 100. This man has seen enough for a thousand lifetimes.
Another brilliant interview. More entertaining than anything I can find on Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney Plus . Keep up the good work and the positive message.
Part 1 and 2 with posh Pete is definitely the best podcast
Shaun.. your interviews are always spot on... this man pieter has lived through terrible circumstances and is still alive to tell all... props to you and him both!! 💚
Truly amazing, as a non Brit I have observed there is this sort of stoic glass half full approach which endures them very well. I'm sure Pete would've been as relatively comfortable exploring the northern passage or the poles as he did during his smuggling career.
Our dark sense of humour helps
Watched this twice now Shaun, on the edge of my seat both times, brilliant once again! He’s a great speaker, great work guys!
Well.. I gotta say that this is the most powerful podcast you’ve done Shaun... well done 👌
They NEED to make his story into a film or TV show
Pieter was on Banged up Abroad a couple of years ago . Give it a watch as it’s really good
There is only one word that comes to mind...... YES!
horror movie
They are working on it. I interviewed him on my channel recently (video is available on my profile) and he said there is a potential netflix show in the works.
Wow another gem, great interview. What a story, Peter had gone through a lot. Fantastic series completely hooked up
Wahoo was waiting for part 2! Love this, I think Pete and David are my favourite two podcast guests :)
Just watched part 1, crazy story. Can't wait to get stuck into this episode! 10/10
One of my favourite interviews so far
Im glad you finally got pete on. Top bloke. Meet him way back in 2004 in jail.
Real mad story. 👍👍
Good job witnessing to young people about staying out of the drug life.
While kind of glorifying it.
Yeh. Its still better than nothing
These ex-members are not deterring anything. If anything, making it more exciting/thrilling for dumb kids.
@@zosmanovic9763 You wrong, I am a dumb kid and I won;t run drugs thanks to Pete and Shaun
@@elguero933 ? I think you've proved my point?
this has been an absolutely crazy ride, loving these podcasts
Superb Peter and Shaun incredible story please keep them coming 🙏🙏
Love this guy, definitely my favourite guest!!
A little late to the party with this one and the channel.. I mainly listen at work when I’m out and about in the wagon.. this story just got crazier as it went on.. amazing story and a great channel. Cheers Shaun.. they certainly makes my journeys fly by..
Can't wait for this! The first one was mental!!
Part1 had me hooked! .... just nipped to the shop for some snacks for part 2 🤣🤣🤣
I just can’t get over how resilient you are. And to be here to tell your story is epic!!!
Posh Pete, part 2 , I’m almost at a loss for words, as for been given TB , human Rights that’s just mad, You with out a doubt have a few Guardian angels, your no doubt very strong minded just hearing about what happened is disturbing , must of been a relief too meet David who is also such an interesting fellow. Thanks again for sharing your story as I’m sure it must bring some things back, wishing you better health .Take Care . Shaun ur killing it ❤️
That two hours flew by, great podcast 👏🏻
Fantastic ending, thanks Shaun and Pete!
Great interview!
Thank you for sharing your story, wish you all the best 🙏
hey shaun. only found you and subbed recently, just catching up on pete's vid's. im still gripped. thank you shaun, im loving your content and interviews 💗
Welcome aboard!
Hiya Shaun, bloody amazing your chats, it's like brother's talking
I can’t wait for part 3 !
I've seen some prison riots where a brain was taken out of a freshly split skull bare handed. Prisoners are wired on something and they are pulling out the eyeballs with their hands and struggling to get them off the optic nerve. Most people have no idea of the horrendous acts that goes on in this world. We are among filthy animals.
Microwave mind control experiments in prison.
And microwave killing.
Researched Ecuador twenty years ago. Heavy warnings about severe prison conditions for any kind of drug possession and conviction.
Cheers Shaun , your the king of podcasts no doubt , the most incredible life stories I've ever heard, didn't think things could be more barbaric then episode 1 .....😮
1:57 , oh well , What a wonderful surprise to see David... awesome some too great guests , thanks Shaun ❤️x fifif
Another great watch Shaun, Pete his just so laid back, especially after everything his seen
You have become one of my favorite tubers. Real.
Same!Shawn and Mr Ballen are the best you- tubers in my opinion
After hearing the 1st podcast I was like so drawn in and 20 mins in armando arrives bloody hell lol. Posh has to be one of the craziest experiences I’ve heard about on this podcast
Really good podcast...Some mad stories!!!
Best story teller ive heard in a long while! Must get the book!
Great interview, 🙏👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the banged up abroad guests
Very interesting, fascinating and actually funny interview.
Crazy this pops up in my recommendations I’m from Ecuador
I live in Ecuador too!Blessing!

This poor geezer has been through the ringer. May he have a brighter future.
I love the end when McMillan came into the shot 😂😂
Mr Attwood love your pod casts
No1 out there 💯🥊
Shauns a bit on edge when pete starts up about vaccines .
That's the only thing I haven't cared for with Sean, as he seemingly has a compliant take on the corona agenda/charade, or at least hasn't seemed to express any suspicion. One would think that he would be less than naive, but apparently it's an issue of giving into pressure.
Great podcast.
Wonderful to see David pop in.
When will his video be up 🙈🙈🙈
I think he is down playing a lot of this I reckon it was a lot more horrific and the extortion was really bad
I believe Pieter is. I too suffer with CPTSD from a very traumatic 14 years of terrible childhood. Only Pieter can remember the true sights, smells, noises, etc. too get that atmosphere out in a story is very hard, if not impossible. What he went through no one will fully understand except himself, but, thankfully he's alive to share his remarkable story.
That was fascinating. What a mental, horriffic experience.
Posh Pete traded in his tea and crumpets for a whole different kind of coke party! I just love him, great video Shaun
lol shaun them gloves just make you look like a bond villain mate
Peter is one lucky guy to get through all that .
Excellent story
Ahhhh I have my answer to the inhaler / breathing issues! What lovely chaps you are despite all you’ve been through!
Brilliant story, got to be made into a film
Pieter they should make a Film about your life story. Shaun Brilliant Podcast, its going to be hard to beat Pieter story. Wildman RIP.
Looking forward to this
Woooowww what a interview
Brilliant well done Guys
What's with the gloves??? 🧤 Great interview 👏👏👏
Wow , Peter is a legend to get through what his experienced. He might be known as the grim Peter, but I reckon he’s got a serious guardian angel over his shoulder xx
"No, the jokes had stopped". :D
this guy is a fookin legend!!! should be made into a movie!!!
Love the way Mr Attwood says ..
‘The drugs will flow, should all be legalised’
true …
Posh Pete is a very elegant and likable chap, he should get together with Posh Spice and make some Posh Babies!...
Posh Pete is to busy trying to keep his ptsd head screwed on.
Is that phil neville
52:34 is the reason why Shaun’s wearing Gloves inside when he says he’s still got a cough from tb....
I've not really considered going to Central America and getting in the drug business, but I'm really not considering it now.
Sadly, stories like this don't deter criminal activity! Absolutely brutal!! 😳
I'm happy to be an upstanding citizen, well pretty much one! 😆
Very crystal maze this ep
part 3 asap
Never in a million years would you look at this dude and think he’s a big time coke dealer. Another example of why you should never judge people !
I can’t help but being creeped out by Shauns gloves. 🥺
Why are u sitting with gloves indoors Shaun? =) Really interesting pod good job. Cheers from Sweden
And then you have the pathetic UK prisoners telling there boring stories . Peter makes Bronson look like a petulant child
They have their charm. Shaun could get one of the brits who served time in pollsmoor or madagascar for nightmare fuel or more of this.
loved it
TFS Shaun 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That was just crazy man
Is there no heat in this recoding studio? These guys are bundled up for a winter hike
This is the road mankind has made through greed and desire. The Amish maybe had an insight. Thanks Shaun for letting our young know the truth because I feel at this stage its the truth that shall set us free.
Damn, after the bovine tb shot story, he so easily remarked about "getting the jab" last week"
U got no heating shaun, get them Bill's paid lol
whats up with shaun and the strangler's gloves?
Great stories
I can’t wait to see this movie!
Shaun, you're a star 😂✌️
Woòo what a guy. He must have nightmares. Amazing storie.
now if this story does not deter drug running or whatever and you get caught well you make ur bed and u lie in it. good to see the guys ok after all that
Want to watch this
Ah this has been a great show I'm sure we will see a lot more of Peter what a story he has ..bastards with the tb ffs
Wishing u all good health from cork Ireland 🇮🇪
I've read about posh Pete. This is the ultimate!!!
I love the Coronavirus mask at the end! I'll deffo go that route if they're mandatory again. 🤭
Netflix sign this man up!
Love listening to Pete, whstd with the glove Shaun?
you can see in his eyes, he's done his time...
