@@Adam-tu1qx I was thinking more of the mindset of playing it, rather than using it as a swap weapon. You want to ambush with a bow usually, you don't want to get into gunfights, and that's how you should think about this weapon in pvp because it's not going to hang in a gunfight.
I genuinely thought the exotic would be the bow, and after seeing it in the database, I wasn't too keen on grinding for it. But now that I see this predecessor to a crossbow in D2, I definitely gotta get it.
I want to play this game still. I just can't fork over another 150+ dollars to just play current stuff and another 50 for last shape. Some of the best times I had playing games was just raiding and grinding with squad
You would think that with how they've been in bad shots with the community laterly, delaying final shape, and how everyone is pissed at them for one reason or another they'd finally give us a free dungeon especially with how this season is supposed to be the end before we end the trope of light vs dark
When I heard "rocket sidearm," I was thinking something like an experimental gyrojet weapon from the 1960s, or a Tourge weapon from Borderlands 2. Something that does splash damage, but is still a sidearm for the purposes of perk activation and champion disruption. Was not expecting a crossbow pistol with magical homing bolts.
With a faster velocity, this weapon would be very consistent at some ranged 1v1's, instead of a trade off death. But, it's still a nice weapon overall. Feels nice too. I wouldn't want too much crazy tracking on it to be honest, even with target acquisition. It just lacks that slight bump in rate of fire to be a true 2-3 tap 1v1 contestant. Very unique gun. Might not be forgotten but probably won't be of much uptime usage in pve, more so pvp. But hey, Play to your hearts content if you do! I might figure out some builds with this little beauty.

Seems pretty decent at mid to long range. Bow users will probably like it more than anyone.
Im a bow main and this seems kinda underwhelming. If i were to use it to blint, than im dedicating an exotic slot & special weapon to just swapping, id rather use abilities to clean up and have a shotty or fusion backup. Using it alone doesnt seem to have the consistency of a bow, and its ridiculous flinch would infuriate me
@@Adam-tu1qx I was thinking more of the mindset of playing it, rather than using it as a swap weapon.
I like it. Got it my second go, and it feels noce
Finally! I’ve always wanted crossbows ((A bit different from what I wanted)) but man it looks nice!
You would think that with how they've been in bad shots with the community laterly, delaying final shape, and how everyone is pissed at them for one reason or another they'd finally give us a free dungeon especially with how this season is supposed to be the end before we end the trope of light vs dark
The new dungeons boss encounter may be my favorite in the game.
Is it currently farmable or just the three characters system rn?
the loot is farmable apart from the exotic. which is once per character per week ( 3 chances a week0
@@ZhaloSupercell1 thanks
Rng gods blessed me today, got the exotic first run through. 2nd run got the side arm with beacon rounds & voltshot, its disgusting
Got it first run through and it fucks. Also Whisper is back, did 6.4 mil damage nearly 2 mil more than my clan mates
If you're closer to the wall in a peak battle, it'll be easier to win. The shots need to curve less to dodge the walla this way
But also easier for the enemy to shoot you
@UsernameXOXO its a give and take relationship with this thing lol.
Room to work with, just not too much room
When I heard "rocket sidearm," I was thinking something like an experimental gyrojet weapon from the 1960s, or a Tourge weapon from Borderlands 2. Something that does splash damage, but is still a sidearm for the purposes of perk activation and champion disruption. Was not expecting a crossbow pistol with magical homing bolts.
There's a legendary rocket sidearm from the dungeon, sounds like that's what you want?
2 different weapons
@@RoseHasThornes Ah, yes. Thank you.
upcoming ornaments for this wud be crazy
Reminds me of a Ruger target pistol in a weird way
I can't wait to see how it is in pve. Seems really fun
One of my friends got this twice in our three runs
I feel like paring this with a high handling rose could be good in pvp. Kinda like a bow swap but a little more forgiving
Damn this is going to be op with a controverse voidlock build. Nonstop devour and weakening from this gun on top of all the grenades? Hell yeah
Looks like it be fun on a void Knuckhead build in PVP and a Gyrfalcons PVE build
Shout out to the editor, cross' face when he got killed by the fighting lion 😂 Cross taking one for the team for our enjoyment.
Went in blind and got this first run yesterday! Probably spent my luck for the rest of D2😅
I’m loving using it I got lucky and got it on my first run good luck to all on getting it
Mechaneer's Trick Sleeves and a kinetic sidearm might be the way to go here.
This is gonna go so good on my void warlock.
Thanks for the PvP review. Coud you make a PvE review too ?
I got this first time and no lie
I was thoroughly whelmed
It’s ok 👍
(Looks and feel great tho!)
