Thanks for this video. This was all I needed to get over the hump on my 2002 Tacoma PreRunner, almost identical steps. I had to have a helper holding the window so anyone else that tries to DIY keep that in mind.

@WhoooLovesOrangeSoda The process will more than likely be different between models. The basic procedures though, such as removing the door panel, taping up the window up and unbolting the window would be the same. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com

I’m wondering the same thing. Tired motor, or regulator, both? Something else entirely? Mine is slow in cold weather and when it hits the top using the auto switch it rolls itself back down

HI John, Check the wire harness that runs between the drivers side door and body of the vehicle for a broke or frayed wire that may need to be repaired. if the harness plugs into anything, make sure that those connections are secure. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

+L Warrior Hello! It may be necessary to remove the motor from the regulator to free the glass to be lowered. Tape the glass up before attempting to remove the regulator. Thanks for watching! 1AAuto.com

If it does that you need a new regulator..it will just stop working one day..
