side note, they were very new when made this song. They were 14 when this band was formed in 2014 and had no formal training when this song was made. Nowadays tho they receive training from senior musicians in Indonesia. Since they are still young, I expect a better performance from them in the future.

Play some Indonesian music and see what reaction you get. Better yet Go to Indonesia and try to perform music, Indonesian music and see how you are received. Most songs last at least 3 minutes so calling it repetitive is a little condescending. Since you don't speak the language there is no way you get it. The fact that 2 languages are used says they have aspirations for success beyond their own country. They are a rock solid trio. The bass and drums are killing and the guitarist/vocalist is really getting quite polished The things I'm most impressed by is their bravery and tenacity. Independent women in some countries are targets for violence and sexual assault. Add that to the fact that they are rewriting the book letter by letter, page by page says alot about commitment. They get my vote for being rebels because that's what metal is about in the first place Just some guy's opinion
You gotta figure what their influences are and they are from a totally foreign culture. Not surprising that its going to have some characteristics that may not be what we are used to but I give them an A for bringing it. Talented and who knows where they will take it.
