You know after watching this I'm really tempted to go back at monke... I mean cheese 2nd turn decks, maybe this and Numeron I'll alternate use it at ladder. Cause Numeron can pack many Lava Golems, Kaiju, or maybe Volcanic Queen, and Sphere Mode package for this meta.
at the release of this video it was a good rogue, maybe even tier 3 deck that could get you to master1 pretty easily. however, we are in a completely different meta right now. the matchups against combo, branded and labrynth arent great, therefore this kind of going second otk deck isnt great too. also drolls hurt this deck too. consistency wise its good since you pretty much only play boardbreakers and draw cards. its a bad rogue deck at best right now
i guess he was afraid of getting otk'd. fenrir searches 1 card which is basically discard fodder for dangers and gets rid of 1 monster, so he dealt with 2 things at once by negating fenrir. however in hindsight you definitely could say it wouldve been better to use it on kurikara
in md ranked i would only expect mikanko to let me go first, so i would just pass. i played this deck in the duelist cup and i was matched vs a lot going second purrely/kash/branded at 30-40k dp, while not seeing a single mikanko. in that case and in tournaments i would always try to end on fenrir/luna/full armor master
this is the most expensive deck in md and sadly almost all UR cards are from master packs. all you really could do, is to open the gizmek/big foot pack and craft other staples like alpha, kurikara etc. it probably takes like 2-3 months of farming max rank and events to really have the deck at full power

First match I don't know why opponent don't use negate effect to Kukikara, but use on other unit, maybe he didn't know Kurikara can revive
