Yes, I know that, but those numbers used to to be in the RC cruise production. There are other videos with that numbers in it and I submitted for the Gus track a couple times and had to audition those numbers. They may have since been cut from the production recently to further cut it down timewise. I am curious if they have actually been cut or if they were cut just for this performance as an understudy contingency since it is a challenging track to sing.
they cut out those numbers so that there would be no intermission because people kept leaving halfway through the show. not because there was anything wrong with the production initially, but because people just aren't as likely to sit through a two hour musical that they didn't PAY to go see.
Hi Christine, actually I do not remember, but one or eventually two nights...? It was included in the price for the whole cruise, no tickets needed but you had to book the show in the app Royal Carribbean gave us. They who didn´t book could get in five minutes before the show if there were any free seats left. // That app had many functions, among other things I could send messages to my wife, my sons and their wives so we could meet each other from time to time. Among 6500 other passengers it is not so easy without the app.... 🙂
I've seen some of the same cruise line production of cats in this platform but there are often some characters that are missing and the cast had to compensate for it (not their fault and they are on a boat so its understandable to not have understudies). This is the third vid I found of the same production and it seems like it was a good day for the production ehe.
you are true hero
2 MONTHS AGO?!?!?
HOW AND WHERE, IVE BEEN DYING YO SEE THE FULL CATS PLAY IRL
Hi, it was on Royal Caribbean´s cruising ship Oasis of the Seas February 23 this year, near Jamaica. 🙂
Not sure if this was a contingency, but it looks like the cut down the show by removing Bustopher and Growltiger sequence.
Can´t say for sure, but I had to make some cuts to change battery during my filming.
@@johnnywilliamsson6524 it isn’t that since the cuts are seamless. Plus, both of those sequences are played by the same performer.
They did - it's a special 1,5 hours version for the cruise ship

how many times do they perform the show on the cruise, how many nights and is it included in the price of the whole cruise, no tickets?
