Great coverage of the big event.
Luck it made it into a brief window of opportunity.
Y 112 and D3 639 also made and appearance on Cruise Express trains, but you can't be everywhere.

Nice video mate I love the shot where K153 runs solo down the main street of Wycheproof it just looks so nice. I would love to model the main street of Wycheproof in HO scale one day!.

Diesels are much more efficient. We are very lucky to have such an active steam preservation movement in Victoria

Steam was brilliant back in the day. As time moves on new technology takes over. We do have very good preservation groups for steam so we are very lucky.

Yes, we are lucky that the Government had not scrap all the steam locomotives. Instead, we had the steam locomotives preserved by the Government for tourism.
