Everyone is going on about they hate them I really like them can't wait to ride one
Everyone hates the new look but I find it nice and I want one
I don’t mind the look but I’m super disappointed that the 570 and 650 vtwins are gone
Where is the air box and disappointing no small vtwins
I mean the 700 has less horsepower than the 650 and no more v twins. And it looks like kymco
What I most care about is reliability and eliminate or reduce heat. Sounds like they addressed it he engine heat issue… time will tell on the reliability.
I was looking at the outlander pro 500 but the unknowns about reliability might just be too much.
Looking forward to seeing them and riding them
Any comment on the seat position? The numbers show the seat height to be noticeably higher than previous models or even the 850/1000.
I like the dished out rear rack area....even tho it probably gives up cargo space. It's not the best looking quad out there in terms of design....but I'm sure it's probably well built.

Available accessories are a huge deal for me. When we head out on the trail are Quads are loaded and ready to go.
So many of the mud guys r complaining but this ATV is not built for them. This is a trail and work machine. I like the new design
You can get two 700 ATV for the price of one 1000xmr!
Not sure why it won't work in the mud. Hondas do awesome in the mud and their motors are even smaller.
@@Dusdaddy you trade big power for a geared tranny, better sealed, and insane reliability. There is a tax to owning the better performing Can am/Polaris payed in reliability. Totally worth it though.

@@curtismccombs2212 hmm, I think maybe they are keeping it on the 850 and 1000, but it will not longer be available on the smaller engine, like the 570.

i wouldn't be surprised if they change the platform for the big bores like they did with the 500/700.they already quit making the evinrude outboards,which makes no sense since they acquired alumacraft boats and would have made a great package,i know because i have that very boat/engine combo .they're streamlining production across the board.
My 1 negative would be....Can-Am needs a handlebar mounted light like Polaris does. It helps so much in the woods in the dark !

I can’t help but notice you didnt comment on how the shifting was with the new transmission and did it make that straight cut gear whine like the V-Twins? Ditched the 570 for a 700 soon as I heard these came out.
There is a new video out from another dealer who commented on the smooth shifting. He even shifted through the gears while the machine was off.
I just bought a 500 Outlander Pro HD5....After buying Polaris the past 3 times, the new '24 Can-Am's just offered more of what I was looking for for the money.

That heat or rather lack of it can be a downside too. At least it is for me because I mostly use my CanAm for plowing snow during winter and it is nice to have that ”heater”… also like my V2 engine. Sad that they got rid of that
So these are basically the new L models. The 850 and 1000 will still be available, these are the models can am hopes to lure customers away from Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. Price will be a good selling point.
Did they fix the gear changes? It has always been hard to change gears VS other brands. Are oil changes easy or do you still need to remove panels? What is the std warranty?
Unknown about the gear changes but I suspect it was addressed. You still need to remove the right side panel to access the filter by the looks of it. There is a video out there showing the filter location on the new engine. Standard Can-Am warranty, 6 months.
Curious about the xmr...does the rider get the heat from the radiator? Or on any ATV rad relocate?
No heat has to do with the engine.
These look nice great intro how is the vibration when you are in midrange? I have a 22 HD7 defender which I really like has plenty enough power for plowing snow and hauling gravel. The only thing I dont care for is the vibration between 15 to 25 miles per hour I'm thinking maybe I should of gotten the HD9 the twin is probably smoother?
By design, the twins are generally smoother across the range. Saying that, I get vibrations on my HD10 Defender when going slow as well.
Is the 500 better on gas than the 700?

Is it going to turn 30"+ tires without significant power loss like the other Singles? Get your XMR twins while ya can folks.
I bet it will spin 30s just fine, just like other singles. You will have to modify the clutch, just like the twins.
@@Dusdaddy A grizz/kq even with a machined sheeve looses a ton of its jam with 28s let alone 30s. It will turn them but nowhere near the level of power even the small bore rotax twin had.
@@annexoffroad Don't know about yours but mine does wheelies with 27.5" Pitbulls after a clutch mod. And I am running 11" wide in the front as well as rear. No top end but I don't care, I can pull damn near anything.
if your plan is to run 30s this is not your machine obviously.that's what the xmr is there for. you know that.
@@edwardcote1331 A lot of people like Suzuki/Yamaha singles for mudding. Lighter and more reliable than Can ams. XMR isnnt the only option.
Not buying another outlander till the diff lock is standard. I have a 2022 850
That will always be reserved for higher models. Hell, PS and 4wd isn't even standardized.
Are the front and rear drive axles straight or useless u joints cause up here in extreme weathers of Alaska on St Lawrence which we get heavily sprayed with salt water n cross salt water rivers u joints go out pretty fsst on can ams but Yamaha grizzlies are pretty damn good ATV's i
Looks like standard CV axles which are like the Yamahas.

Unfortunately they did not have the XMR 700 available for us to ride.
When, or about when, will these models be available for consumers? I am in the process of saving up for a new ATV, and I'm pretty much decided on Can Am, I don't know if I will get one of these models, or a Can Am outlander 850 twin. Don't know that I need the 850 power, but don't have much to go off of for these new ones yet. I never owned a Can Am, and have very little experience with Can Am. My uncle had a Can Am Camo Outlander 400, I believe it was the first models of the outlanders, years ago. It had 500cc power with a 400 class model. I had a Kawasaki Brute Force 750 at the time, and the Outlander seemed okay. I only rode it a few times when we would swap here, and there. I've rode ATV's ever since I rode my Grandpa's 80's model Suzuki at his hunting Camp when I was a small kid, then my first Suzuki 80LT from when I was just a little kid. I'm from Southern West Virginia Logan/Boone County, " Hatfield, and McCoy trails " Rockhouse, and Bearwallow to be more exact. Grew up riding ATV's, rode ATV's more often, than driving a Automobile. I currently live way up here in Wisconsin now, haven't rode ATV's in several years though. Rode lots of Hondas, Fourtraxs 300, 450ES, Foreman 500 (475cc) Rubicon 500(499cc), Ranchers 350 ES, etc , had a 2005 Polaris Ranger XP 700 EFI (Fun, but not the best quality). The Brute Force 750 was a 2005 model, Carb model, gas guzzler. Out of a 5.3 gallon gas tank, I couldn't get over 60miles at tank. Honda Foreman 3.8 gallon, or 3.2 gallon don't remember , would get me well over 100miles, with about a quarter of a tank left. The terrrain up here in Wisconsin is much different than in Southern West Virginia, the terrain down there is much more technical than up here in Wisconsin. Based on what I can tell, what is a better option for down south, may not be necessary up here. Riding in those steep hills, or mountains take your pick, requires an ATV with a low center of gravity, to avoid rollovers. If you ride that terrain enough regularly, you know that good ground clearance doesn't trump a low center of gravity. To have both is good, but there are a lot of places where you want the machine hugging that mountain side, it's a long way down in places. That ATV can roll like a bolder off a mountain top until it gets wrapped around a tree, or hits the bottom of the valley. The trail system " The Hatfield, and McCoy trails " aren't too bad, but off the beaten path, local trails, that's a different story.
my dealer told me mine will arrive late april/mid may.i'm expecting it in june tbh.
@@edwardcote1331 I also learned that Can AM ATVs aren’t made in America, there made in Mexico. People talk about it being American, it’s not. So, it may take a while to get from Mexico
@@TiffanyBottomsHunter School them. Can-Am was never American. It is now and has always been a Canadian company. The only American companies left are Polaris and Arctic Cat.
@@Dusdaddy Yeah most companies now a days in this global economy have their automobiles, ATVs etc, built in the country they sale them in . Like Honda, Toyota, Yamaha etc. They are Japanese companies, but Honda, and Yamaha ATVS have stickers on them “ Made in America “ . BRP, or Can Am sales products worldwide, they also have plants worldwide. The outlanders being built in Mexico are a part of the North American Market. I’m not 100% sure, but I think Subaru built, or designed engines for Polaris in the past, but then I think Polaris started engineering their own. Polaris really needs to focus on quality. I mean like for example, the front rack on the Sportsman ? Why not put some kind of proper front rack on a utility ATV ? The thing just Flops,and wiggles around when you open it 🤷🏻 They use to put the battery on the Sportsman down near ground on the skid plate right behind the front differential completely exposed to water mud, sticks, and whatever else, I couldn’t quite understand why they would put it there

In today's global market, there really is no "buy American" anymore because so many companies are foreign owned or US owned but everything made overseas, etc. Besides, none of us can survive without buying something made in China. And you are right about Polaris. Sad to think the "most" American builder is the worst in engineering and dependability.

Not that I have seen. The way they led the dealers around, I doubt anyone has had a chance to goose it much. Still waiting for others to get their hands on one. I'd like to know how the seating position is considering how damn high it is. Like 5" higher than the old 570?
All the manufactures are in trouble with CF Moto. They have come a long way. I got a CF Moto 500 because of the price and included accessories. And it still has as much power (38HP) as my old Honda Rincon 700 (675cc)
I'll gladly admit CFMoto has come a long way. If they had what I wanted, I would not hesitate to purchase one.

@@jerrypowers7671 I got a 2023 CF Moto 500 and a 2008 Can Am 650. Because I live in the northeast, I can't ride the CF moto (or the can-am) yet. I'll let you know if it is a shit heap. But first impressions is that it is a quality built machine.

As far as I know their 4WD system has been upgraded. But depends on what model year you are specifically talking about. When I sell/trade my 2008 650 Can Am Outlander, I will either get a CF Moto 800 or take a serious look at this Can Am 700. The CF Moto 850 makes 62HP (as much as the 2009-2022 650 Outlander 650). Or I might look for a used, last model year (2022) Outlander 650 Max XT.

Copy of Snarler engine 180 rotation.
And the Snarler copied Can-Am with 3-way adjustable EPS. Or copied Honda with a single cylinder, or copied Yamaha with the suspension. Who cares? There just are not that many ways to do things anymore. But I will say the Snarler weighs 800lbs. and can only tow 670? And max payload is 430lbs? Sounds weak as hell compared to others.
Put a deposit on a brand new machine with a new unknown engine, clutch, engine brake, and frame sight unseen?! Are you kidding me? 😄 Do they get a new guinea pig t-shirt to go along with that?! 😂
I know they gotta sell machines to keep the big machine going, but really? Can Am won't even tell us the specifics of anything yet, but they're willing to take your order?

unknown clutch?? really? do some research.the frame is derived from the x3.the only unknown is the engine,that is also the engine fir the 700 commander and the maverick.you can't get much more basic than a single cylinder.but we all know how BRP throws stuff out there and uses their customers as R and D and has recalls like nobody else.no wait,that's Polaris.BRP and their junk engines,amiright?

P-Drive is a clutch system currently used in Ski-Doos. Word out there is that it is smooth and dependable.
This is the replacement for the 570. From what I can tell that engine didn't make a lot of sense in the market. Made good power but not enough torque to compete with the big singles from Japanese manufacturers. If you want V-Twin power they still make 850 and 1000 in a different chassis: this is both the budget model and the model to compete with Yamaha Grizzly and from what I can see they hit it out of the park. The ACE engine design is well proven in other 2 and 3 cylinder SkiDoo/SeaDoo applications and they are super reliable and easy on fuel.
@@thegodfreyspecial423 In addition to those, they have already been installing this engine in the Defender and Commander line since last year. If it can push a Defender around, I think it's fine on power for a quad.

@@thegodfreyspecial423 I'm with you, I think they look good as well as specs. I've got an 08 Grizz and a 2018 570 as a "gateway drug" to Can-Am. The 570 is ok but nothing compared to my Grizz. The current Grizz is no different than what I have but this 700 looks just right.
