It's really amazing what Jim managed to do with this character. It's a very difficult character to portray. You need to memorize all these long lines that are so confusing and then deliver it fast. Obviously there are a lot of takes, but still. Bravo.
Not to mention how difficult it is to portray a complex character like Sheldon. His weirdness would be very hard to deal with, but he still manages to make him a lovable and favored character.

The higher ups agree,when Jim decided to leave,they thought,the show wouldn’t survive without him.
Sheldon is a very lucky man. Although he is nerdy and does not fit in the rest of the society very well, he still manages to find friends that can tolerate his behaviors and share similar interests as him.

The "soft kitty, warm kitty" scene was brilliantly done, mainly because the camera caught the look of total discomfiture on Sheldor's face as Penny forced him to sing it. Brilliant.

Imagine when he sees people standing in a rally with no masks , with blatant disregard for social distancing norms in the middle of a pandemic supporting the cause of a republican President. (1) sure he's careful about his hygiene but sometimes throughout the show disregards the hygiene of others, (2) not always, he seemed to get sick from not following hygiene, (3) 80% of republicans follow guidelines and stay safe, the rallies, they wear masks most of the time, and staying outside decreases your chances. I'm sure you can come to the conclusion that he is apolitical and not a democrat nor a republican. The people their are safe and tested before entering. Republicans as unscientific is a massive generalizations on Republicans. If he were to watch the rallies he would surely enjoy them, as Trump is quite the showman.
