The gun is a percussion cap black powder pistol. The " missile" is actually called a projectile.

For those curious the anti-theft device is commonly referred to as a spider-wire (at least it was in my store). That particular device was definitely not used for a watch as it looked like a model that could fit roughly a 55" tv box. Stores used a magnet key to unlock it and the wires pull out from the center, and the top flips up to twist and tighten it. They also ring loud as hell if you cut the wire which is why it wasn't cut.

    • @HungryForBurritos
      @HungryForBurritos 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

youre right about the spider wire but unfortunately with this one you just need a magnet and it has a little flap that pops up for you to loosen the wires.

That 'anti-tank round' is basically the 'bullet' of what is commonly called an anti-materiel rifle.
It might date back as far as World War II, but also quite possibly Korea or Viet Nam. 37mm could also have been an anti-aircraft round. A number of nations have used that caliber for that purpose.

Wonder if the "monster" key ring might not have belonged to a night watchman somewhere. That giant-size key thing could have been part of a time-clock box checkpoint arrangement.
Some places used to use those. You'd have "click in" boxes at various points through the building. The watchman would use a special key at each one as they made their rounds, and the box would log the time the key was turned. Their supervisor could check the records from the boxes to make sure the watchmen were properly patrolling the facility, and not just kicking back with their feet up somewhere.

    • @davidturk6301

I worked as a rent a cop during school. You did have to clock in at various points on your rounds to show you were there. The specific keys were at each location, which you used on your clock/recorder. I’m guessing the keys might belong to a apartment complex manager/janitor.

That was cool that the cop was there when you pulled up the flint lock rifle or maybe even an old pistol. Take care and be safe.

What is up with all the Magnet Tubers finding bombs and mortars recently. There's been like 7-8 of them in the last month. Crazy.
Forklift part looked like a leaf spring.

I'm wondering if a vet lived in one of the houses and passed away, the kids not knowing what to do with it just dumped them

This is crazy! I live an hour from where you fished and there definitely wasn't any bomb findings on the news.

37mm Anti-Tank round is probably solid shot , more than enough to deal with most tanks made from 1916-1941-ish. The other looked more like a pre-civil war cap& ball pistol of some sort

The large piece with two round pieces looks like two horns on a mount, for a large vehicle, maybe train.

Dude! Another one?? I saw the video where the guy from the bomb squad came out and took that large missile and he said he would get back with you......did he??
I want to know what these are and what they were used for!! I'm nosey 😅😂🤣
Take care Tyler, stay safe, God bless and Happy Magnet fishing 🎣 😊

It’s a 37 mm missile round, he didn’t call him but the same guy came out and told him the last one was empty when they x-rayed it, he mentions it in the end of the video when they come to take the second one
